Enjoyed an doordash yesterday. The pastel shrimp is good like cornbread with cheese and shrimp inside.
Liked the chicken skewer. Fresh and well done. The suace on the side is a good condiment.

It was my first time discovering this place called Coxinhas, and as a good Brazilian, of course I had to stop and try it. The menu is large, with options ranging from bobó de camarão to cuscuz. I tried the açaí and the coxinha, and we also had the cheese balls — I don’t remember her name, but I know she is Dominican, the cool girlfriend who helped is super kind and helpful. The atmosphere is great, with good music and delicious food.

The only thing I noticed is that they don’t offer a high chair, since I have a 1-year-old baby, and the restroom doesn’t have a changing table.

I’m always looking for new & exciting things to try so when I found out about Coxinhas (on the NEWS) I ran right there! They make everything in-house, the food was fresh, restaurant was clean, staff explained menu items as I was not familiar with everything. They are still working out the kinks it’s a new business so be patient with them… it’s definitely worth it! The owner was still training & overseeing, he was very friendly to patrons; even seemed to already have “regulars”.

They have an extensive selection of Brazilian handheld snacks, great for on the run working people. Everything I tried was amazing. Super tasty & the textures were nothing like I’ve ever had. Coxinhas are deep fried, crispy on the outside doughy inside stuffed with a variety of fillings like chicken & beef they had at least 5 different combinations when I ordered… soooooo good! I also tried a hearts of palm pie and a stuffed bread which are baked. I can’t wait to go back & try the pastels which are made to order!!

The coxinhas are good, I was expecting a lot more flavor than the other ones I had but they are well packaged and all. I would love more options for them. Overall it was a good bite. Definitely would not order delivery from them it’s very expensive.

We took the family there today for an early dinner and it was fantastic!!! It has been many many years since we have had such an amazing authentic Brazilian food experience. These guys are doing it right. We had an assortment of threats like Pastel, Coxinhas and sandwiches and I recommend all of it.

The restaurant is small, but has a nice environment.
The staff is friendly.
Açaí is really good, it’s a good portion for the size (we took a medium one, for $10), and 3 topping. They could have more options, but it’s ok.
Coziness is good, the dough is tasty and the flavor too. They didn’t have a few options that was in the menu. We ordered chicken and beef.
It has a lot of filing.
Pastel (empanadas) are really good, we ordered jerk beef. The flavor is almost the same as we used to eat in Brazil, the only thing that was missing, was the crunchiness.
Overall, a nice place to eat some Brazilian snacks.
