Tchotchke is a true redemption story, and one worth celebrating.
Walking in, the space feels refreshed and more upscale than its predecessor, the beloved Munch’s Diner, which served this community for nearly 70 years. And yet, somehow, Tchotchke still manages to honor that history. The charm is still there… just polished, intentional, and inviting.
The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, the food is genuinely delicious, and the service seals the deal. Special shout-out to Gabe in the kitchen, and Alexa, who made the experience even better with attentive, friendly customer service. That goes a long way.
This isn’t just a reopening… it’s a reset done right. Tchotchke respects the past, embraces the present, and delivers on quality across the board. We’ll absolutely be back.

So delicious, great atmosphere. The food is priced reasonably for in house scratch- kitchen style food. The biscuits and jam were the highlight for me. The staff were welcoming and attentive. I’m full and satisfied!

So I called in to order wings. They have 12 or 6 pieces as options. I ordered two 12 piece wings. The total came out to $46 and some change. I asked the waitrsss on the phone if the wings are worth $2 a piece and she assured me they were. Saying they were smoked and then cooked. Reluctantly I went against my judgement and put in for 2 orders looking to feed a couple guys working for me. Let me give it a shot. Place has a lot of good reviews. It always comes back to bite me when I go against myself. this for the price is not even close to worth it.

Food was absolutely amazing; the best we have had on this vacation. Willing to drive back tomorrow the hour from our hotel to try other dishes. The prices were reasonable, the staff friendly and knowledgeable – highly recommend.

exceptional diner that serves outstanding food. everything is scratch made. had the “no sleep till brooklyn” sandwich and it was outstanding. wonderfully soft brioche bread, great amount of bacon and ham, and soft scrambled eggs. will be back again!!
