What really stands out is the culture. The team treats each other — and customers — with respect and kindness. In all the time I’ve been around this establishment, I’ve never once known it to have “racist” employees or tolerate that kind of behavior. Inclusivity and professionalism are clearly non-negotiable here, and it shows in the diverse, friendly environment they’ve built.
The management runs a tight ship while still creating a positive, upbeat vibe. Whether it’s a busy rush or a quieter moment, the experience is consistently top-notch. It’s refreshing to see a place that truly values both its staff and its customers.
If you’re looking for a spot where you’ll be treated well and enjoy a great overall experience, this is it. Highly recommend.
Every single time I have come here, my friends and I have ordered two beers at once without issue. It is completely legal to purchase two beers at a time, and throughout the night I observed many other customers doing exactly that. Two girls ahead of us ordered two drinks and four shots. Five of my friends — all white males — each had two drinks in hand and were never questioned.
When it was our turn, my friend and I asked the bartender (Bonnie) for four beers — two for each of us. We were ordering together to avoid waiting in line again. Instead of calmly explaining a policy, she immediately asked how old I was and told me I “should know better,” in a condescending tone. I apologized and explained that we have always ordered two beers here and that others around us had multiple drinks. She then accused me of rolling my eyes — which I did not do — and aggressively asked if I “had a problem.” (Feeling like she wanted to kick me out this was our first drink of the night)
I am a mixed woman and often one of the only ones in the bar. I was the only person being questioned and spoken to in that manner. Her hostility was directed solely at me, not my friend standing beside me.
To make matters worse, after we INTENTIONALLY LEFT A $0 tip due to this interaction, Bonnie entered a $2 tip into the system without our authorization. Adding money to a customer’s bill without consent is completely unacceptable and illegal. Customers should not have to double-check their charges after a night out. I strongly suggest people keep their receipts or pay cash to ensure their bill reflects what they actually authorized.

I am also a bartender, so I understand how stressful busy nights can be. Even when customers are difficult, professionalism matters. Policies can be enforced — but they must be enforced consistently, respectfully, and ethically. This was extremely out of line and wild for a bartender to have the confidence to do this to a paying customer. After years of supporting this bar, I left feeling singled out, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. The treatment i experienced felt discriminatory, and after reading other reviews, it appears I am not alone in feeling this way. I hope management does something about this because this is a on going pattern. Ensure all customers are treated with equal respect
Bottom line, this business made decisions that were, without a doubt, racist. Worcester is a city that prides itself on its diversity and inclusivity. The White Eagle does not. Advertising that the official NFL broadcast would be shown then deliberately changing the channel (and bar audio) during the halftime show is racist no matter which way you slice it.
Disappointed is a complete understatement. And after seeing how the bar staff treated the bouncer? I hope that he quit. He deserves SO much better.
