Passing through on the way to the local RV park while traveling and needed a hot meal after a couple days of no electricity. This was probably the best country-fried steak I’ve ever had. And I’ve eaten a lot of country-fried steaks. Glad I stopped here!

This is a home town favorite. Nicki is fast friendly and a beautiful person. Who will greet you with a smile a hello and your day will feel great. Coffee is always hot, the food is always delicious. Eat an omelet or have some fried eggs and bacon it’s all good to start your day. I don’t have any pictures because it’s to good to be wasting time with snap shoots.

All the waitresses loved our dog. We stopped here after a sunrise walk.
I picked up 2 jars of homemade spaghetti sauce.
My son had pancake, sausage and cheesy eggs. I had an omelet, potatoes (FIRE!), and we shared a biscuit and gravy.
Service was amazing. Loved this little place.

If you happen to find yourself traveling on I-49 in Missouri, Mama’s Kitchen in Archie is a MUST STOP.
This place is everything you want a small town café to be: friendly, clean, and flavors that will make you think you are sitting in your grandmother’s kitchen.
It was super hard to pass up the day’s special: meatloaf with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and dinner roll, but we opted instead for a patty melt with tots, club sandwich with vegetable of the day (steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots), and a side salad with ranch dressing- all pictured. Everything was delicious. Serving sizes were more than generous. All the food was cooked perfectly and served nicely.
We didn’t *need* more food, but couldn’t pass up the homemade desserts. We ordered butterscotch pie and chocolate chip cookies. All I can say is DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. You WILL regret it. These things are amazing. One of the servers (who happened to be our server) makes them herself. They are… well, simply outstanding: soft, chewy, sweet with a hint of flaky salt on top. Just delightful.
Our server was Allison. She didn’t just meet every expectation, she anticipated and exceeded every need. We are traveling from out of state. As I was about to finish my iced tea, I was thinking about asking if I could request to pay for another in a to go cup. Just as I was about to ask, here comes Allison saying, “I hope it’s okay I just put your refill in a To-Go cup.” I was floored!
We cannot say enough about Mama’s Kitchen. Go here. Eat here. Spend your money at this local, small business gem. You will NOT regret it!

1st time at this little restaurant. Its your little town Cafe. I think they can do better. My sausage was so burnt ,that I couldn’t cut it and the gravy was so thick you could eat with a fork. It may have just been an off day for them, so I absolutely will try them again. 2 ladies sitting near us got fried chicken dinners it looked good! The ladies said it was very tasty, so I am going back to try their chicken dinner. I’ll have an update at a later date .

Oh my goodness. So glad we stopped on our way by. The food was amazing. Homemade goodness. And the Cinnamon rolls are the size of dinner plates. Definitely would stop again.

Loved this place!! We stopped on our way to Kansas City, and it was a perfect spot. The menu is simple but I think that’s what makes it so good. The food was delicious!! I hope if y’all go, y’all get Rachel as your server because she was genuinely amazing! Good food and good service

Our server was fantastic! My mashed potatoes were slightly less runny than the white gravy. The chicken fried chicken was only a little bigger than a chicken strip. The tomatoes on hubby’s tenderloin were thin enough to almost read through. So disappointed.

Cheeseburger was very good, the onion rings were big thick and amazing , I got the butterscotch pie and the peanut butter cheesecake both were homemade and delicious, really enjoyed the thinner crust, employees are super friendly and the decor was exactly what I love about small town diners gives a welcoming feeling.

The service is fairly fast and accurate. Affordable yes, it is a bit cool in the building during air conditioning season. The thermostat is turned down a bit too low. When I first started eating there a few years ago, a blonde woman always played contemporary Christian music. I loved it!! Recently, the music has gotten louder, worldly, and multiple formats of music being played by staff cell phones at the same time!ANNOYING!!! Sorry…I’m most likely not returning the quality of service and food has declined…
