On our way to Georgia, my family, friends, and I stopped at this quaint Chinese eatery for lunch. Though the restaurant was relatively small, it was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience.

The food was presented beautifully, with attention to detail, and the quality was commendable. However, the taste fell short of expectations. While the dishes were flavorful, some lacked the richness and depth we were hoping for.

Overall, it’s a decent spot to grab a meal when you’re hungry and looking for something quick and convenient. While it might not leave a lasting impression, it certainly gets the job done with satisfactory service and presentation

We ordered our food, it only took20 minutes. A lot of people had the same idea for take out dinner on New Years Eve. We ordered Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef and a few soups. It was very good and such a lovely family, may you be happy and may you be well. Love that ordering is supporting a local owned business.

1st time and so far, I like it. Love the bigger noodles, orange chicken was good and the egg roll was so so. Just veggie, no meat. My dad ordered the triple with pork, chicken and shrimp with rice. With tax almost $39. Prices evwrywhere have gone up, but their portion size is good to me. There’s enough for leftovers. I will try them again. Good service, food was hot hot and came out in a decent time.

We are working around the corner and stopped in to give this place a try. We were blown away in both the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. It was super hot and fresh. The meat was also of high quality. We will definitely be coming back!

Was excited after reading the positive reviews of Generals Chicken. I search for it everywhere I go. The main review I saw said it was the second best General Tso in Knoxville. If that’s still true for this person, I feel wholly sorry for you.

I ordered lunch specials of General Tso and sesame chicken (always good to have a back up)

Starting with the egg rolls. They seemed overcooked/slightly burnt and really had no amazing taste to speak of. I didn’t finish 1.
Next, the General chicken was standard fare. Nothing impressionable at all. The sesame chicken, made with the same breaded chunks was slightly better. That’s what I ate for my meal.

The lady taking my order was nice and the food was ready very quickly.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed enough to try a return visit

If you are looking for good Chinese look elsewhere. Worst egg rolls
Terrible happy family. The sesame chicken was edible but thats it. The fried rice is yellow. The shrimp sauce is gross. We spent 80 bucks to try all our favorites and ate mostly just the white rice.

1) white rice was perfect
2) general tsos- needs more sauce, requested spicy was very mild, pretty crispy though.
3) portion size for $15 feels small compared to most Chinese take out places

I’d grab it again but only in a pinch.

I’m losing faith that we will ever find chinese food that comes close to NY. First of all, their idea of fried rice is yellow rice with frozen peas and carrots??? I’ve never seen this in a chinese restaurant. Do they even know what fried rice is? The eggrolls were pasty and soggy inside and tasted like an old shoe. Is there ANY decent chinese food in Knoxville??? Waste of money, right in the garbage. The “sesame chicken” was dried out bits of chicken and mainly breading. The lo mein was so bad, we took a couple of bites before tossing it in the trash. Find somewhere else, if you can. This ain’t it!

I can’t tell you how disappointing it was to get home with their takeout meal to find that we had no soy sauce, no mustard, sweet sauce for the eggrolls, and no fortune cookies. I’m in town visiting from Atlanta where the Chinese is pretty outstanding and it includes all the above. The chicken sesame had very little chicken mostly fried dough. The hot and sour soup wasn’t really hot and sour. It was kind of bland. On a positive note the food was prepared and ready fast and it was really hot. I would’ve never have thought that I had to request soy sauce, hot mustard, sweet sauce for Chinese meal. I mean, who doesn’t look forward to their fortune cookie . I will likely order from a different place next time or at least make sure I request all the condiments and fortune cookie.
