Fun place! Pool, a full bar (liquor and beer), food, and lottery. It’s a pretty small area and smoking is allowed at the bar as a heads up, so the place did have a pretty strong cigarette smell. Service was fast and friendly; the only con is there was no music playing. Would’ve been a perfect kickback spot if there were some tunes to jam out to 🙂

Looking for a place to eat. The lone pine restaurant was closed so we decided to try Chat and Chew. Was not disappointed. Food was really good. Service was prompt and $30 for three people. Just be aware…It’s a bar and a small restaurant. Very friendly staff and so was the bar chatter. Will definitely visit again.

I’ve been there twice now. Both times around noon or one pm. The menu isn’t extensive, but there are plenty of options. Burgers are flame broiled and delicious. Service is pleasant and friendly. Atmosphere.. it is a bar so it does have a lingering smoky smell, but it’s not overpowering. (I’m not a smoker and I’m allergic to cigarette smoke) I will gladly go there again when I’m in the area.

The place is bitchin’!!! We drove to Malad on a whim, which is an hour away from our home, to ditch our kids and stumbled our way in. Had the best burger! Sipped some Jack and Coke while listening to the best Dad Rock! Felt like home my Dudes! The bartender was amazing!

I can’t say enough about the awesome atmosphere at The Chat and Chew. We ended up at the Chat and Chew because of the clever namesake and because we were retrieving our dad’s van from the chevron. Even my brothers were raving about the chat and chew environment. You can do all of your favorite things there: drink, and smoke cigarettes and scratch lottery tickets to your heart is content, but be aware, if you have too many doubles you will be asked to leave. We didn’t eat but next time I will definitely be ordering the mini fried tacos. The icing on the cake were the rad neon tank tops. See photo. Thanks for the awesome afternoon!

Went to the races and this was About the only place open on Sunday so we gave it a try. I’m so glad we stopped. What a cozy little bar and grill. Deep fried mushrooms were not too bad. My husband had a pastrami burger and he said it was killer. I would highly recommend this little place. Friendly staff as well as great table service… Thanks Chat and Chew!!!
