Casual, vibrantly coloured Mexican eatery on a floating houseboat serves tacos & other staples.

I had the salmon mango tacos because I saw them recommended in a review. The order taker, Dani, was very pleasant and friendly, she is from Cabo San Lucas. Only a short wait for the food to be ready. The tacos were well constructed and very tasty. Highly recommend.

This is a great family run place on the Wharf. After eating seafood for ten days, we chose a lighter meal of beef barbacoa which was authentic and excellent. Their hot salsa was super! The shrimp ceviche was also excellent.

Average food. Location is great. We had fish and salmon taco. The pico for the taco needs more work to give it some taste. The cod was barely fried. Very light in color and soft.

I’m a local “Victorian” and have been to Puerto Vallarta Amigos MANY times over the last few years. The food is great, but more-so is the family feel the staff bring into the equation. I love going when the weather is nice and they have LIVE MUSIC where everyone all around the wharf are standing up and dancing. If you haven’t had a chance to experience this, it really is quite the unique experience! It’s a vibe you really don’t want to miss out on! Looking forward to my next visit. 10/10!

Great Mexican snack bar right on the bustling Fisherman’s Wharf in Victoria, BC. The Baja Fish Tacos were delicious, but the Salmon Mango Tacos were even better! The service was very friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. We also liked the homemade hot sauce. Unfortunately, the soft drinks are from the soda machine, but they also serve local craft beer. There are enough seats, but more attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the tables. Not necessarily cheap, but a good option for a tasty snack for lunch.

I Had an exceptional experience at Puerto Vallarta Amigos! I tried the salmon burrito, and it was absolutely fantastic. The salmon was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, wrapped in a deliciously soft tortilla with just the right amount of seasoning and toppings. The flavors were well-balanced, making each bite a delight. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a great meal. If you’re a seafood lover, especially of Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend trying the salmon burrito—it’s a standout dish!

Very good welcoming service, but they forget some things, like spiciness customizations, dips; it’s understandable because they’re really busy but I’d advise to double check your order verbally before you walk. The best was ceviche for me, tacos are absolutely delicious but I have also had better. These tacos are saucy if you ask for it, which I like and soft shells. Jumbo butter prawns were amazing, but the accompanying rice was a little underwhelming. Altogether, a 3.5-3.8 star dining experience. It is definitely great to try once in a while, but I wouldn’t be a regular here.

As you can see from my photos, the visual presentation of the food is top-notch, and the taste is exceptional.
I can say that the price is reasonable for what you get.
The staff always have a smile on their faces. I visit this place every year, and she has continued to work here, always smiling. There is no bad dish here. Personally, I think the dish with shrimp, chili sauce, and rice is the best.
However, the drink machine seems to be an issue. Every time I use it, the carbonation is weak, making it feel like I’m drinking sugary water.
Parking is a serious problem here. Despite having hundreds of visitors, the parking space is very limited.

It was one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had.

$10 for a handful of chips and about 1/2 cup of salsa! I take responsibility for not checking the menu more carefully. I asked for chips and salsa and it cost over $10. We also ordered 2 fish tacos. The fish was snapper. They tasted average. Nothing special. The cost was $17. Just too over priced for what you get. Outdoor dining in the rain. No tables indoors. No heat lamps.
