I was excited to try some Detroit style pizza, but this under delivered. I order 2 quarter sheet pizzas (pepperoni + the #4), and when I got home, they were not hot. I had to reheat them in the air fryer. The crust had no crunch to them, and too soft for my liking. The pepperoni’s have no char to them, and it was all a bit underwhelming. The mozzarella cheese is skimped, while the toppings are generous, so that is a plus. What could be a great pizza, was underwhelming.

I got the DeFino slice! The dough was crispy on the edges full of flavor from the tomato sauce and cheese and fresh basil sprinkled on top. The dough reminded me of a classier Pizza Hut dough. Would recommend. With the buttermilk ranch the slice was $9.

The pizza is very tasty! Not too greasy, crust is fluffy, and the ranch dressing is tasty. It’s small inside so not a lot of seating area. I love that you can just order 1/4 of the pie – much more manageable portion size.

Small little pizza place on 21st Street with pretty good pizza.
My partner and I stopped in for lunch and we both ordered a quarter of the cheese pizza.
The crust is very crispy with the texture and taste of a deep dish crust baked with a coating of oil. The sauce was just ok for my liking, the cheese was fresh with a sprinkling of basil on the pizza. They serve the pizza with a small container of ranch dressing, which added a nice flavor to the pizza.
We both enjoyed our pizza, nice lunch.

Picked up on my way home today and despite the fact that he was working solo, I was greeted and given notice of when my order would be ready. Pizza was yummy and pretty. I would definitely eat it in the shop next time because it got just a touch soggy and I could tell it started with immense crispness .

Stopped to have lunch while driving to Ashland and loved everything. First of all, the staff was very nice and friendly. The house salad was so good and fresh. We had 3 different kinds of pizzas and every single one was so good. The crust was thick but light and crispy. The breadsticks was also very good, I couldn’t stop eating it. We wish we had more time in Portland. Really recommend Ranch, if you come to Portland.
