Ordered chicken and beef biryani, Lassi. Only could finish the lassi even though it wasn’t a good one. I’ve had better. Second worst biryani of my life. Meat was so old and dry. Bad smell was coming out. Couldn’t even eat so just got it packed and eventually it went to trash. I think they have separate meat and rice cooked in the freezer. Customer comes, they just mix week or more days old meat and rice then serve. I’ve never seen this much turmeric in Indian food. I’m giving the second star only because the waitress/Cashier provided nice customer service. Never coming back to this place. I’ll rather cook shity biryani myself at home rather then eating here.

I tried the food last night and I don’t understand what other people found bad… the food was amazing when I went in. I got food for my family. The beef biryani and lamb biryani tasted so fresh and you can tell the masala and meat is fresh. The aroma from the spices in the biryanis smelt so good. The mango lassi was amazing, best I had in this area. The chicken Tikka was definitely worth the price. 6 big pieces with rice salad and chickpeas. The chicken tikka was so juicy and tender and filled with flavor. The customer service was really good too, the cashier was very nice. One of the best Indian places in the area. I would definitely recommend!!!

I had the Taj Special and it was off the chain. I was able to taste all of the spices in the lamb, beef, and chicken. The basmati rice was just right and the naan bread was delicious. I will definitely have to come back. The meat was really tender and juicy.

Ordered the Chicken tikla masala , cashier told me it was dark meat,yet it was half white, half dark. Plus the chicken tasted like it was over a week old and the side of lentils was literally just a spoonful it didn’t even fill the little styrofoam tray up and both the chicken and lentils were under seasoned, will never go back there again.

“Indian” food dumbed down for American tastes, with large portions so we can feed our fat habit. Salad: basically iceberg lettuce. Vegetable: chick peas from a can. Nan: straight off supermarket shelf (garlic nan not available). Kitchen very slow even though I was only customer. Ambiance: nil. All this and over-priced. Still kicking myself for not going to Subway next door, where I could have gotten food quicker, more dependable, and half the price.

Suggest order online or call and then pick it up. Nice and casual atmosphere, highly reccomend the Chicken Tikla Masala, it is so good.
Not only that, but everything on their menu is hand made, and you can taste it.
Espically the somosas, it’s so good!
Daal puri is lentils inside a poofy bread, and is circular. I reccomend you all to try it out.
They have kabobs all the way to curries to sweet deserts like rosh gulla.

I had the lunch special… The goat was seasoned well and equally awesome. The price was nice…The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restaurant was a little chilly…Nice family atmosphere! I’ll definitely return!

Taj serves a very delicious halal food. I had dinner there several times. All the times are fresh and yummy. I like their Chicken tikka and mutton curry.

The food and the service is very good and the price is excellent. The place is not fancy but it is really worthy to check it out . They are located at the Barcroft Plaza with tons of parking space. I recommend for a quick bite or a family dinner. They even deliver !
