They don’t have crushed red pepper which is unfortunate if you order pepperoni.
They are friendly and quick and I really like their counter space for those loner lunches. The outdoor space is cool and their eclectic beer choices are decent.
I had to knock a star bc i do not like when establishments request tips for counter service. If i order at the counter and i put my own plates away when done, why do you ask for a tip when im paying $5+ for a slice of pizza? Management should either pay employees more or do away with this practice (take a note from the UK). Tips are for underpaid waiters or folks that go above and beyond.

Good pizza joint in FTW. The dough is very good. Toppings are toppings. Some places have good sauce. The best places have good sauce and dough. Black Cat delivers in this regard.
I tried the Pepperoni, Cheese, and Al Pastor… All three had the same dough. Great flavor and consistency across all 3. The Pastor was spicy. Had some good heat to it (Mexican American).
I’ll be back next time I’m in Southside Fort Worth.
The mushroom were in the oven until black. Don’t go here, I suggest Picchi Pacchi Pizzeria or Cane Rosso.
At the end of the day you can get better pizza for the price elsewhere.
Two girls behind the counter rolled their eyes and treated us as if we were a huge inconvenience to their quiet night. Just overall bad experience with horrible attitude as the cherry on top.
We really wanted to like this place, but wish the employees didn’t have such a chip on their shoulder and have the crust burnt. This could have been a good slice, but the negligence of the workers erased that possibility. The mushrooms were burnt as well.
Otherwise a very laidback spot that was aesthetically pleasing to the eye with pizzas by the slice at a very reasonable price!
