Additionally, we sampled a fried Swiss on a stick, a fair favorite, and deep-fried pretzels with cheese. We shared an order of poutine fries and culminated our meal with a Reese’s Pieces milkshake. We will undoubtedly return, as the staff were friendly and helpful, providing quick service with hot food. Rating: 8.5/10.
The Polish Boys were seriously delicious—some of the best kielbasa-style hot dogs we’ve ever had. Perfect snap, great flavor,
and loaded just right. The tater kegs were little bites of fried heaven—crispy on the outside and cheesy inside, super satisfying.
And the Reese’s shake? Thick, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. If you’re into creative comfort food, this place is
definitely worth a stop. We’ll be back for sure!
West Virginia Dawg SO good! Their beef hot dogs are one of the best!
Irish Dawg even better!
Cheese curds fresh & perfectly fried. We will definitely will be back. Such a good variety to choose from.
First off my food was great! The staff treated the customers very well also. The restaurant was very clean. There were only two people working, a male and a female, they both were working very hard to get the orders out. I used to work in restaurants so I know how stressful it can be especially when you’re short staffed. I also know that working in kitchens is not for the faint of heart, and sometimes staff does not always get along perfectly, but what I seen today was despicable.
The two staff members working were a female with blonde hair wearing a blue shirt, grey pants, a black hat and tattoos on her left arm. Also a male who was probably in his 30s or 40s with a short beard, black shirt, a backwards dark colored hat, and tattoos on the right arm. I don’t know either of their names. Again they were both working very hard.
However the way this man was treating his coworker was DISGUSTING!! I understand kitchen work can be extremely stressful and they were busy but screaming in someone’s face is abusive and unacceptable. The phones were ringing off the hook because there were again only 2 people working so no one could answer them, the loud kitchen equipment was running, there were children inside the restaurant talking, so the female employee was not able to hear the male employee asking her questions. Instead of just politely going up to her and repeating his question in a closer space so she can hear, he gets in her face and aggressively yells at her, “YOU NEED TO ANSWER MY QUESTION” while also putting his hand in her face!! I was appalled! And it didn’t stop there. Continuously throughout the entire time multiple customers waited in the restaurant he continued to belittle her, talk to her like she was stupid, and aggressively raise his voice at her. I can appreciate that he was trying to stay organized on the orders and get the job done as efficiently as possible but there is still NO excuse to treat someone like that. I can guarantee if she was a man he wouldn’t have talked to her like that!! She was so respectful the entire time and apologizing to customers for the wait. She also remained very respectful to him and I could tell she was just trying to keep her head down and get her work done. I felt so terrible for her. I get people have bad days, and maybe I caught this guy on a bad day, but if he is willing to treat her that way in front of customers I can only imagine how he may treat her when there’s no customers in the building. I’m hoping this guy just had a bad day and isn’t normally like that.
I felt so extremely uncomfortable witnessing this, it makes me never want to return just because of that. I truly hope this poor lady can find a new job where her coworkers respect her and treat her like a person. Or I hope she gets a raise for what should be hazard pay to work with people like that!! I hope that guy apologizes to her and this behavior is corrected immediately.
Again I am a fan of this place and the food is always great and the staff is always friendly to the customers but I do not ever want to see something like that ever again. It was so awkward and just revolting to where it turned my stomach and made me lose my appetite. I hope this is not a common occurrence and again maybe this guy was just having a bad day.
