My mom and I stopped in on a very busy Saturday afternoon after the downtown Dahlonega Christmas parade. We were looking for a spot to have a few drinks and kill some time and we found it at Underground. We found a couple open seats at the bar & sat down. The leather arm chairs at the bar are very comfortable! Our beers were ice cold & delicious. We did not try any food but heard good reviews from the couple sitting beside us. Vance, one of the owners, was very friendly and we had great conversation with both him and Isaiah. They have been open for almost a year and I hope you give them a try! Their chef comes from Michelin starred restaurants and the menu is very eclectic. They also have a small stage with live music and karaoke nights. Check them out and support a great local business!

This place was ok, do not recommend the “pizza” on French bread. We ordered the margarita and the pepperoni, the bread get “mushy” with the sauce and soggy. The flavor would be good on another type of bread that does not have that sogginess. The “pita” with chicken Cesar salad was very good, the taste was there, but again the bread did not taste like “pita.” The kids sliders with fries were the best part of the evening, this pace should be selling those kids burgers for adults and could be a hit.

This is the SPOT to go to in Dahlonega. We partied at night, amazing bar, live music, and fun youthful crowd. Came back for lunch the next day, food quality was mind blowing. BEST tacos I’ve ever had. Service is 10/10 as well, Vance, Elizabeth, & Karina were beyond friendly and so helpful. Just the perfect vibe overall, must see, don’t miss out.

This place phenomenal. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it in my opinion. They were busy busy busy and for good reason. We were recommended to them because they have “the best wings around” and lemme tell ya, they weren’t lying. The wings were meaty, tender, perfectly crispy and oh my god the sauces… we got the maple bourbon and the Cajun honey butter. The cattle fries were to die for. And the Reuben hot pockets had us speechless lol Our server was Troy and he was attentive and easy going. Wonderful experience and we will be back!

Overall the food was truly the worse food I have ever experienced at a restaurant. I ordered The Sandwich and the pork was literally a mush and the only thing salvageable was the pickle. Thank goodness for the fries. (Side order) My friend ordered Crustables. They were so over cooked she had them take it off her bill. There were five in our party and no one was happy or could eat their food. Except the fries and some wings. For such a trendy place I don’t know how they ever have any repeat business. We are not normally people who complain or write bad reviews. But somebody had to say it. The pictures look ok but it was barely touch.

When we got into town Saturday we were hoping to find a great local spot and Underground exceeded expectations, from an amazing band playing, great cocktails, delicious bar bites, to welcoming bartenders— 5 ⭐️!! I fell in love with the drink Coco kiss, surprisingly light and refreshing. We liked it so much we returned Sunday night so I could buy a T-shirt and of course more drinks. Our bartender, Isaiah, was welcoming and friendly with a mean upsell adding to our enjoyment . Also the gold chocolate bars are a must have! If we ever have the chance we’ll be back!

Initially we tried to go around 6:30 on Sunday night and there was a 45 minute wait. We went somewhere else and then came back for a couple drinks and a dessert. The cannoli dip was light and the cinnamon sugar dipping chips are warm and perfect for scooping.
The wait staff was really nice and attentive.

We ordered a Cuban based sandwich and a Dahlonega special. The Cuban was tasteless with a nasty side of sauce and the Dahlonega special flat bread pizza was mostly onions, not chicken and was hard chewing cutting my mouth and throat swallowing. The couple next to us had the Ruben hot pockets and nachos. They said the nachos were OK, and the light on meat hot pockets were disappointing. Not a great experience.

Needed some place to hang out and watch the array of NCAA football games last Saturday while in Dahlonega, ended up liking this place so much we went back Sunday afternoon for the pro games enjoyed the Birria Tacos and the Flatbread as well as the chicken wings (some sort of bourbon glazed, amazing yum ). Service was great and fast, and amenities were clean. All in all a great place to go while visiting Dahlonega (I should have snagged more photos of the food).

Nice vibes. Everyone was very friendly from the host and wait staff to the owners’ son, Vance. Our server, Malorie was the absolute sweetest. The food was delicious. The menu is eclectic, not pinpointing any one cuisine, which is cool. We had the Birria tacos and the chicken Kefta, which were absolutely amazing. There is a kids menu, if you ask. My daughter wasn’t a huge fan of the sliders but the fries were tasty. Overall I’d say you must visit.
