This is one of the few dining options you’ll find before entering Glacier National Park from the east entrance. We tried their burger, and it was okay. We were just happy to find something to eat before heading into the park

We came specifically for the Huckleberry pie! I recommend getting it a la mode! Service was quick and friendly. Pie was served hot. We sat outside on the porch! Highly recommend.

Originally, we wanted pizza. We saw the place on the other side of this plaza, Rising Sun Pizza. They were busy at about 7 pm, but there were tables. No one greeted us but saw us walk in and staff walked by us several times. Before we decided to go to the Park Cafe, the line waiting was growing significantly behind us and no one had said anything yet.

We walked down to the Park Cafe. They were busy, but not as busy as the other place. What was nice, before I could get the door shut behind me, I heard a male welcoming us. He was cheerful.

We were brought menus and decided to try the Huckleberry Pizza. It has chicken, bacon, and a “huck sauce”. We were told it resembled a BBQ sauce.

There was a wait for the fresh pizza to be cooked. We sat outside after they invited our dogs to hang with us at a picnic table. They even offered, if we chose to wait in the van, to bring the pizza out to us.

We went to get the dogs and sat at a picnic table. We were very glad we chose this place. The pizza was absolutely delicious! It came out piping hot and looking yummy. The sauce was a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. We could see the Huckleberries throughout.

The crust was not thin, but it was satisfyingly crispy and delicious as well.

We ordered a 16 inch. It had 8 large slices. We were full after 2 each. Probably could have stopped at 1 and a 1/2.

I saw a burger someone had ordered, it looked good too!

We are definitely happy to have not been acknowledged at the first place we stopped. Things happen for a reason, this was to be treated great and fed a hot and delicious pizza!

Was really looking forward to trying the pie, since it seemed like a speciality advertised on their sign. It was was inedible for $10 a slice. Didn’t finish and threw away. Tasted a month old.

The Park Cafe was such a nice place to cozy up and have some lunch! The atmosphere was super homey and the staff were very friendly. I enjoyed one of the best huckleberry milkshakes I’ve ever had, and some classic feel good pizza! Definitely worth the stop for a hungry traveler!!!

The lunch food was delivered in a brown paper bag where you can eat it there or take it with you. The food was so-so. Glad that the Huck pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. It had no top crust and little filling thus making it mostly huckleberry. Sadly, this would not be the same when I ate there again a couple weeks later.

The second time I took the Huck sugar cookie and cinnamon roll to go. Big mistake as it’s just covered with some sort of frosting and had little to no Huck flavor. However, the pie, though not like the first time, was very good as was the Huck milkshake.

The restaurant opening and closing time and open and close days don’t seem to be consistent thus making it hard for customers to pick it as a place to eat…. have a Plan B.

It’s too bad there is no consistency wit this establishment as a couple years ago, it was quite good.

This place is awesome. Looks like its tagged to wrong building or restaurants operations got moved further down to a building. Still great food. I highly recommend this one.

$16 bucks for two slices of old wonder bread + plastic cheese + one egg. Picture should say it all – this was $16…. Tasted like nothing but plastic.

Burger was a thin patty, school lunch special – $18 bucks.

Out of bison, out of multiple other items – only thing available were these plastic egg sandwich and hamburger.

Go anywhere else and save your money. I would have been happier eating trail mix. What a shame robbing money from tourists. High reviews are now looking back clearly wrong or fake.

Excellent! We had a BLT and a bison cheeseburger burger. But what makes this place awesome are the friendly owners and the HUCKLEBERRY PIE WITH HUCKLEBERRY ICE CREAM! Stop here!

We ate here twice while staying in St. Mary KOA. The first time, we got burgers and chicken fingers. We didn’t have to wait long for our food – maybe 10 minutes. Is it big city, restaurant quality? No. But if you are a hungry hiker that doesn’t want to cook when you get back, this place was just right. I see a lot of reviewers complain about the high prices. Chicken fingers and fries were $15. A cheeseburger with fries was $16. Please don’t complain, consider the high costs they accrue due to their location. It has to be pricey shipping or getting food delivered here. We didn’t mind the prices.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our second visit, we got Apple pie and strawberry/rhubarb pie served warm with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious! The crust was flaky and buttery. As I write this review, I am already thinking about going back tomorrow for pie!
