We were on a trip to St Louis and decided to stop in and give this restaurant a try. We had a very large group and that was not a problem for the staff to allow us to join many tables to facilitate our party.
The food was surprisingly excellent. The service was good even while handling our party of 25+. A rare gem we might have missed if not for good luck.
I had dry rubbed lemon pepper wings, a basket of fries, and drink. I actually hope one day to go back it was that good.
If you’re in the area I suggest you give it a try. You may just be as surprised as I was.

Bartender spent most of the time either on her phone or chatting up a group of guys at one end of the bar – would ignore me as she walked past, even with my hand raised and looking right at her, and an empty glass in front of me. Good wait staff will NEVER let you have an empty glass. To add insult to injury, when I finally did get a new one, it was in the same glass (not a new one) and the head on the beer was awful. I can’t actually rate the food because even though I asked for a food menu TWICE, I was never given one. Service here is worse than horrendous. You could not make me return here at gunpoint.
This is a smoking bar, too, in case you were not aware. Not a good thing or a bad thing, just something you should know coming in.

Working and staying very locally, over from the uk for 10 days,
Very much a local hang out feeling here, staff seem to know all the people that come in (which is a great thing).
Staff are friendly and seem up for a bit of banta.
Kitchen was closed when we turned up but that still threw on a pizza for us, which was very much appreciated.
I’m sure we’ll return many times during our visit over in the US.
Seen a few reviews moaning about the ladies chatting with the people at the bar!! That’s part of their job surely? Talking with their regulars is a sign of good bar tender no?
My glass never got empty all evening before I was offered a refill.
Highly recommended this bar if you’re in the area.

If your draft beer isn’t working, you might want to answer nicer… Maybe even take down the tap handles?? If you tell me a price, I expect change or at least an explanation on why I didn’t receive said change. I shouldn’t have to ask. And why don’t you have cold glasses? Am I expecting too much? Won’t be back.

Good drink prices. You can smoke here so for smokers that’s a good thing for non-smokers well, you’re going to smell like smoke when you leave. The bartenders were friendly/ cordial but you could definitely tell who the regulars were because that’s where the bartenders spent most of their time. The music is obviously played on somebody’s cell phone because when they wanted to answer texts or messages, they would unplug the music and the whole bar would be without music while they returned the text or messages (10+ min at a time). I would go back for the great beer prices. The food is really good too.

Great atmosphere. i was able to converse with the group i came with. The tableside drink service was above par. The only drawback at no fault to the venue would be more diversity of the juke box songs.

Great place for a couple drinks with a special someone or a night out with a group of friends. The bartender was wonderful and even though the bar had a pretty good sized crowd, she made sure to come check on our table of 2 and we never had to leave to ask for anything. Smoking was allowed inside.

Small place, with an overall good atmosphere. Crowd is a decent mix of people, I’m 34 and I don’t feel too young, or too old, to be there. It’s not one of “those” bars, where you walk in and all 10 of the regulars stare at you sideways. The drinks and food are reasonably priced, (Try the “Liquid Marijuana”!). And most importantly all the bartenders are good, you won’t wait 20 mins to be served a drink in this place!
