My group and I came into this nice Sweet Home Saloon and we were seated promptly, the staff was friendly, and I could see how it would be packed on the weekends, it was pretty quiet when we stopped in.
We ordered an appetizer of fries before the food and instead, it came with the food. Everyone found the food delicious and filling and the service was great outside of the appetizer order being unexpectedly delayed. My family and I will be back soon, I will note parking can be tricky during a busy weekend in this small town as it is a popular place for both locals and tourists.

Ill start with saying this, I get it’s a bar, and people are going to have bad days, but you leave that bad attitude at home…downtown is a bar yes, but it’s also supposed to be a place that people/family’s can come to enjoy a meal in the morning hours… we came with my family and some friends of ours, the bar tender was extremely rude,short and snappy, and would walk away in the middle of asking a question or requesting a to go cup.(for the kids drinks).the hole table noticed it including the kids. Not only that but mine and my husbands drink was the worst bloody Marry we have ever had and we love our bloody Mary’s. I tried to give this lady the benefit of the doubt but it was just one thing after another. Terrible hospitality,took forever to bring us our drinks& food and then brought half the tables food while making the other half wait a good 5-10 minutes. Overall a really crummy experience for the hole group. All do to one bartender with a bad attitude.

Great food and cheap beer. Almost worth it just to drive from Portland it’s that affordable and good. Service is great, they know their people. Definitely the bar to go to get to know Sweet Home. Karaoke, cheap beer night, dancing and drinking.

A group of us come to Sweet Home yearly and we LOVE spending at least one day at the Downtown! Always amazing service, seriously delicious food and the atmosphere is so fun!! Stop by and say hi to the girls, they will always give you a memorable time 😉

My husband & I stopped by this place Saturday after the rodeo with some friends. We were never greeted and sat at the front of the bar continuing to visit. I asked the bartender if I could get something to drink and was answered really short & rudely that once she’s done with what she was doing. I responded we had been waiting there over an hour already. She tried to embarrass me saying that I looked “pretty toasted & if I don’t want to wait that I could go to another bar.” We left & took our friends with us over to The Damn Bar where we were able to get food & drinks which has always been a great experience. Good food and friendly bartenders, but I will not be back to this bar. (It was the short chunky lady with blonde hair) I feel that racism is the reason she reacted that way towards me)

Aurora was our bartender. By far the best we have had in the many years we have been coming here. Very accommodating. Like real old time girl, taking many orders at the same time. Very good asset to the restaurant! WILL BE BACK!

walk in, no one greets me, that’s fine I figure they’re focused on something else so just wait…10 min go by and then I finally ask if I’m able to order a drink..then go to order food, after about 25 min of waiting this is what I get… what in the world is this??
