Stopped by for dinner and was happy with our food and service. I ordered a two meat platter with brisket and pulled pork, both were good, but definitely have had better. The service was excellent and our server was super nice and accommodating. I was accidentally brought chicken instead of pork and it was immediately fixed. Very cozy atmosphere, great for kids.

Came well recommended by staff at Embassy Suites, service was very good. Attentive but not invasive. Not Southern BBQ but well prepared. Would recommend and return. Wife says the bread pudding is ” yummy” .

This is a very nice place to eat. We had the 3 meat combination and there was plenty to eat. Service was nice and very friendly. And the bbq sauce is great.

Only issue we’ve ever had was with one waitress and that they took rice pilaf off the menu :-(. Shelly is THE BEST and I don’t know of too many places that will make you something after they take it off the menu! I got my rice pilaf and chicken piccatta the second night because I called ahead and asked for it. Henry is sweet and picks the best cuts of food. We travel 7 hours mouths watering the whole way just to eat here. There is one waitress who is a bit slow, whiney and will argue with you if something is wrong however Shelly is amazing and if you ever experience a problem you can call up Henry or Shelly and I’m sure they will take care of it. Best find in Monterey!
