This coffee shop is one of my favorite stops whenever I’m back in my hometown visiting my parents. I make a point to stop in when I go for a visit, and when I have friends with me, I love bringing them along to experience it, too. They have a great variety of coffees and teas, plus a nice selection of lunch items. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes every visit even better. I also love that they showcase local artists, and I’ve even been lucky enough to drop in during a live Celtic band! And if I’m ever craving something fun, they even have bubble tea. Def recommend!

Evelyn Bay is the fusion of a coffee shop and a coffee. It has an atmosphere that is both suited to lounging and a comfy chair reading or writing, or sitting at a table talking with friends over a sandwich and soup.
They have a wide variety of drinks and some delicious food. If you ever get a chance to try their pumpkin bacon soup do it. But they’re paninis are also delicious.

Locally owned coffee shop with such a comforting setting. It’s almost impossible to come in here and not feel like your mental state is put at ease. The coffee, desserts, food and ice cream are all delicious! The ice cream is from Moo-Ville which is another local company and is the best around! The coffee flight is so good and allows you to taste several different drinks. To my surprise the one I almost didn’t get was my favorite (viennese mocha). The woman that owns this coffee shop is witty and polite. I love that they also allow local companies to showcase and advertise on the walls or even by just putting their business card up.

My fiancé and I go here often enough that some of the people there know us. They are all incredibly friendly and fun to talk with! We always order the breakfast croissant sandwich with sausage and let me tell you – AMAZING. We also love love love their Rosemary Potato Soup – which they always have as their standard soup, in addition to their soup of the day. We have tried so many amazing coffee creations here it’s nuts! Our favorites so far have been the Black Velvet, Chai Tea Latte and their Red Hot Mocha. 10/10 would recommend them for their food, drinks, service and chill atmosphere.

I discovered this place when I was passing through Charlotte for work. During the last few years I’ve gotten into supporting independent coffee shops. I will definitely come back. I like how they have a big space for self-employed people to display their business cards. They even had a display set up for a local 10 year old and her business which I thought was really nice

Coffee Flights are fun and delicious-LOTS of sugar free options which is GREAT! Big chains don’t offer as many SF options! The food is good as well!

Can’t visit Charlotte without going to Faye’s! I love the chicken salad sandwich! Cookies, brownies, muffins, everything is delicious! Kids don’t like the loud/live music but we all love to see the local artists displayed! Service is always great and friendly and greetings with a smile! I’ve never been disappointed! Highly recommend! Return customer! And i WILL be back!
