This place has the BEST smoothies at a phenomenal price! There are always special deals going on and it’s only a hop, skip and a jump from our place. Whenever I visit King Smoothie on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, Connecticut, I pay over $17 for a 44-ounce smoothie, and they never fill it to the top. The customer service is terrible. Arrived at Smoothie King today at 2:40pm. And asked for a recommendation. The young lady that helped me was very nice. Asked what I was in the mood for. Told her it was my first time here. She recommended the Bee Berry Bowl with Acai. So I agreed. Immediately another coworker said you cannot do that. I said ok ill just take it how it comes. Another staff member prepares the bowl. I receive the bowl and it is nothing like what was in the picture. Bowl wasn’t filled up and the fruit was super frugal.I was not satisfied with the portions. And requested a refund. Manager says once you pay for it we cannot refund your money. I paused…A young couple walks in and I offered them to take the bowl that was made for me and I walked out.Very unprofessional customer service. I don’t argue with anyone keep your bowl and the money. You go to Playa Bowls and Robeks you get what you pay for. A generous Acai Bowl. And great customer service. Smoothie King you should be ashamed. Update with Photos Attached….What they advertise VS what they serve you. SMH

I don’t remember the name of my smoothie (i think it was tropical something?) but it was pretty good. It didn’t have that starchy taste that some smoothies have. I would come here again.

This was my third time visiting this store. My mother and I have been on the lookout for a healthy alternative after a workout from fhe gym and we discoer3d this gem. The staff is absolutely welcoming and helpful choosing the perfect soothie. I recommed the bannana Passion fruit smoothie. It has bengits of boosting you motabolism. Long story short this will be my new spot.
