My ex-girlfriend and I stopped in here when we were traveling to Sedona. I was looking for an old-timey Route 66 bar. This place fit the bill, we had a couple of local beers and played a couple games of pool. Also the surrounding town and stores are very cool, especially if you’re into the movie Cars. Highly recommended.

Great bar off of historic Route 66! Great staff and cold brews! Everyone is very welcoming and a place that will make you feel right at home! Great live music on the weekends as well! Stop in and have a drink, the worst that will happen is you will end up having two!

I was there in April 2012. I actually hung out in seligman for a few days. Met a couple guys, I cant recall their names. One of them drove a water truck, the other had long hair and lived out in the country. Great people there.

So me and my friend wanted to take a road trip to see a friend of a friend on a surprise visit..we were looking forward to enjoying a few drinks and have some fun..up on arriving at the bar we weren’t greeted..Me being a bartender myself for The Thirsty Lizard in Bisbee Arizona if I was not to greet a first time customer or a returning customer andtreat them the way we were treated my boss would have fired me on the spot..awesome owners that does stuff for the community..we say and waited for about 10 minutes before getting our first beer..when we wanted to purchase a shirt we got attitude because we wanted the prices of the shirts..

Not only were they rude. I went to the bathroom and the people got mad at me. Like I’m sorry you basically covered up the females bathroom with tin foil and didn’t know which bathroom to go in. Never coming back here. Sadly this was my first and last time here.

The “Black Cat” saw Historical Route 66 come and then go & then saw the Route 66 re-birth (thanks to Seligman).
Trivia: I learned today Route 66 was actually constructed for the 1928 Chicago World’s Fair to get people to Chicago from the West coast … interesting!
The customers are full of positive energy in the “local’s” hangout.

This bar had an atmosphere unlike that of any other. It’s family run and the vibes are amazing. They’re very welcoming and the small town feels make you want to come back for more. The pricing is very fair and the story line will only get better when you arrive. It’s open late so come in ready!
