Absolutely loved the spicy sweet chicken — perfectly crispy with just the right balance of heat and sweetness. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. We watched an episode of Asian Street Food on NF that spotlighted Seoul. The food looked so good that we decided to try to find some authentic Korean food in Charlotte, and we hit the Jackpot with Bibim. We had the Haemel Pajeon pancakes for an appetizer. They were packed with small bits of seafood and scallion and were a savory delight! I had the sizzling Bimbimbap, and it was delicious. A blend of pork, rice, mushrooms, and various vegetables, all served in a sizzling bowl (careful, it’s hot!). It was capped off with an egg, a nice addition. My wife had a dumpling stew, but we can’t recall the name of the dish. It’s not on the website menu. It was similar to the Tofu stew, but she chose pork dumplings as her protein, which were incredible! The service was very good, and this restaurant was very clean. We loved Bimim and will definitely be back!

The menu is not diverse but very high quality, I was completely overwhelmed and impressed with the way they presented the food on dishes.
The food was served quickly, the friendly staff suggested a seafood pancake that suited my taste.
The yakwa dessert is also a good choice.

I had a good meal here. The soondubu jjigae had a great flavor. It does seem, based on my and my dining partners’ selections, that they tone down the spice level for American palates. These same menu choices in Korea were consistently spicier than those served here. Also, the banchan served are quite small and kimchi isn’t served by default; you need to order it separately. The food was still tasty and the service quick and friendly. Will definitely return.
