Reviews
The fish is always super fresh. The portions are generous and the service is great. The pork ramen is superb and all of their rolls and sushi and sashimi are great.
Do yourself a favor. Take the 12 minute ride out of your typical haunts and reward yourself with some of the best sushi this side of the valley.
The building is unique with a warm and cozy vibe.
The food is consistently fresh, great portions and delicious.
The service is always great, friendly and always available
The koi pond at the entrance is awesome
Hands down
The four seasons is my absolute favorite, I was so happy I eat one before I took the picture lol and the baked halibut, mouth watering yumminess
Top the evening off with delicious oyster shooters. If you love sushi this place is a must
My boyfriend brought me here for our first date and we’ve come back again and again
We’ve shared this place with many friends and family and we all continue to come back for more
So glad you guys are back!!!!
I will stop by again to give it a second chance, but not any time soon.
Sure, why not!
Best quality, best hospitality, not gonna bust the bank, but it’s not all u can eat cheap!
You get what you pay for, in my opinion.
Golf, Natalie, Jimmy, and crew simply the best!
Here’s why:
1. The service here is beyond stellar. For coming into this place on a Saturday just before the dinner rush, I felt like every single person in the restaurant was focusing their attention on our needs at our table. And we were a pretty large party.
2. The Freshness.
Yes, they are a little bit more expensive than say the chain sushi places. But you do get 10 times better quality here. Everything from the Fresh wasabi to the yellowtail sashimi is of the utmost best quality you could ever ask for in a sushi spot.
3. Hole in the wall vibes, with a retro feel.
I felt like we should have been sitting next to a celebrity. It’s that kind of place, out of the way, tucked into a quiet part of a strip mall. This spot has the atmosphere like you should be seeing someone famous in here trying to lay low.
In general, the dishes we ordered were a good representation of what this restaurant does best.
The yellowtail sashimi was buttery smooth, melt in your mouth and very flavorful.
The octopus salad blew me away. Very fresh, very tender.
The fresh Wasabi is divine. It’s not like the Spackle type paste you get at the chain Sushi restaurants. No no, this is bright green, almost like a sweet pickled cucumber, finely diced consistency.
All of the rolls we ordered had plenty of fish, not just rice, and were absolutely delicious.
All of the sauces had a lot of flavor, with lots of complex things going on in each. For instance, some are sweet and sour, yet cool and refreshing, others were very savory with spice and umami.
The seared tuna sushi is exceptionally tasty.
Another favorite of mine was the Red Dragon Roll.
There’s usually a few parking spaces out front, and also a handicap space or two.
In summary, this is a place you enjoy like a trophy after a long competition of lots of hard work.
It’s a spot that you reward yourself with, treat yourself to on a special occasion, or just enjoy it as often as you like, or can afford. Lol. It’s definitely worth it!
The Ramen was superb. Natalie was nice and the place was very clean. The environment had good vibes. The price was more affordable than the other place I have been. I will defenitely come back and try other stuff. My overall experiebce was top notch.
