The prices are about what you would expect for a good smoked brisket or whatever suits you but unlike some other places, you actually get a real decent amount of food! They also offer a 20% to Military Personnel.
The Decor of the restaurant is very nice, done mostly in wood. It’s clean, with a rustic feel and the 1st thing that hits you when you walk thru the door are the wonderful aromas of the delicious smoked meats.
Overall, I am very glad to finally have a BBQ establishment doing it right! I will definitely recommend to anyone and be revisiting myself as well!
The sriracha sweet potatoes and baked beans are really good!
We tried to eat here about 45 minute before closing. After waiting in line 15+ minutes, we found out (only when we reached the counter) that they were sold out of everything except pulled pork! I decided to give it another try. When I went in I told the owner I had given a negative review due to not having enough food to serve customers. I suggested they put a sign on the door so customers know what they are sold out of before wasting time standing in line. He then went into the kitchen and started berating me loud enough for me to hear! I paid for my food and walked out in shock! If this is how he treats local people who make suggestions, I can’t wait to see how he deals with the summer crowd. Good luck!
As for the food: it was WAY too smokey. More is not always better! The macaroni and cheese was mush, the potatoes had no flavor and the baked beans were inedible! The green beans weren’t bad, but how can you screw up green beans? I would suggest you head down to Adrift BBQ in North Webster and forget this place!
