Easy to order online and pick up at the shop. The woman who serves is so sweet! Also they give you a lot of sauce and don’t charge extra.
Inside is basic but very clear, pleasant without loud music and a fresh smell.
Parking and navigating the intersection isn’t easy – be careful!

We have eaten here for years. However, since it is apparently under new ownership, it has drastically declined in numerous ways. First, the food doesn’t taste as good as it used to. Not cooked the same. Secondly, the portions has decreased while the cost has increased. Prior to delivery being available, we would call in and pick it up ourselves. We were never disappointed in the portions and the larger styrofoam container always had more than enough food in it. Most of the time enough for lunch the next day. NOW, the styrofoam container is smaller (not as tall or wide as the older ones) but you only get that container when you pick it up yourself and it is not as full. If you order for delivery, the container is even smaller! Not sure what happened to this place but not as good as it used to be. Pictures show two orders made same day at different times of day. One delivery and one pick up.

Best hibachi in chattanooga, best white sauce, such friendly people, and great service /large portions. 4 years eating here and have tried many others but still come back here. The sauce alone is worth the trip everytime.

My wife and I searched Google maps for Local Chinese food in East Brainerd. The hibachi express came up in the results and we decided to go. It is located in a small plaza at the corner of E. Brainerd Rd. and gunbarrel Road. We both ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp plates and they were a little over $15 apiece. Our total meal which is the two plates came out to $30 and change.
The chicken and the shrimp were excellent, and the vegetables were very good as well. The portions were big. My only complaint is that I did not like the brown rice you see in the picture. That was the fried rice we requested. It tasted very much of curry and had a dark, brownish flavor to it. I would highly recommend getting another style of rice other than their “fried “on the menu. As i left the rice untouched, the pieces of chicken and shrimp and vegetables were plenty enough to make me full.
I also tried the ginger sauce in which I dipped a few pieces in to see if I would like it. I did not care for it. I did not try the white sauce.
If you are local to the restaurant or in the area, they are good eats and aside from not liking the rice. I felt like they were just as good value as other small hibachi houses around the city.

Its a great place to swing by and grab lunch or a super casual meet up. Small esting area inside but super pleasant cashier/host and very delicious food! I got steak and shrimp hibacho cost 17$ and was enough for almost 2 people.

I’ve moved away now, but for 5 years I religiously ordered the honey chicken here, which is no longer on their menu BUT their bourbon chicken is also phenomenal! The service I received here for many years was always personable and never failed to brighten my day.

Before Covid I ordered lunch from here and they highly disappointed me. Today I decided to give them another chance and it actually did not disappoint. The LEO style hibachi is full of flavor- I have found the regular hibachi is not. The chicken was very good and super fresh. My only complaint is the rice could’ve been slightly more cooked but I like to re cook my hibachi in a wok at home so I can hardly complain about that. Over all Leo style hibachi 9/10! A full plate for $12!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant almost weekly since 2018. It’s genuinely been one of my favorites and, up until recently, I would have given it 5 stars. It appears that they have made changes to their menu. I’m assuming that maybe it’s new management or a new cook.
The staff is friendly and nice, but the food is not nearly as good as it previously was and appears to be smaller portions. To be more specific, I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken a couple times recently. The chicken, which is usually cooked perfectly, was rubbery and very bland. Additionally, the vegetable mix has been changed and they were not cooked thoroughly, to the point of being almost raw. It’s an extremely disappointing development because I truly loved this restaurant and considered it one of the better takeout places in the area. Maybe it’s just a period of growing pains while they make changes and I’ll be glad to check them out in the future, but, as-is, I will not be returning for awhile.
