This is exactly what I’ve been looking for ! As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere, & the decor. This is in such a good location, and the fact that they have 3 locations in Boston already said good things about this place. I low key had high expectations. My husband & I wanted to sit next to one of the big TV’s and they sat us in our own little area. The food was absolutely delicious, I was obsessed with the Steak & cheese eggs rolls & the rice and beans were amazing! I will definitely be returning & taking the family next time!

I have had a great experience at the roxbury and JP locations and was really excited to try this newer location. As somebody who works in the industry this was a disappointing experience – this place has a lot of potential. Great music and absolutely gorgeous interior. We waited about 10 minutes to be greeted after being sat. Server was not really friendly, but whatever everybody has their bad days. We ordered our drinks and food at the initial greet. Drinks were SOOO good and honestly the only redeeming factor here. We were given waters upon being greeted – I finished mine right before the food hit and was never refilled, instead my empty glass was taken off the table. The food took about 30 minutes to get to the table – not impressive considering it wasn’t packed. Especially since nothing was hot.. Server checked back (first time back to the table after dropping off drinks) after the food was dropped off by the runner to make sure we were okay, we put in another round of drinks and asked for syrup for the french toast plates we got. We ate everything else – two full meals – while waiting for the syrup. The food was OK… each egg was cooked differently (sunny, easy, medium, and hard!) , lots of oil, french toast looked a little disappointing. Home fries were the star of the show. We stacked up our empty plates – while still waiting for the syrup. Server came back and said “are you guys all done?” “oh just waiting on that syrup”. At this point it’s been 30 minutes since we asked for the syrup. I wish i was exaggerating. :/ instead of going to get the syrup at this point the server tended to a few other tables and then our syrup came out with a lovely little layer on top that showed me it was sitting out for a while. We ate our now-cold french toast and added those plates to the stack of empty plates that was still at the end of the table. The server dropped off the bill – actually kinda tossed it down on the table without a word and walked off – and I was icked out by the autogratuity that was added FOR A PARTY OF TWO? I could understand parties of 6 or more which is the standard. I had to go open up the menu again and try to find where it was written on there, but it wasn’t anywhere on there. I found a blurb somewhere on one of the other locations sites online about how bills over $100 get autograt. Sorry, but policies like that create space for server entitlement, laziness and create a poor guest experience – especially paired with poor management. I could tell that the server didn’t go the extra mile in any way shape or form simply because that 20% was coming whether I liked it or not.

Went here for brunch with my cousins and we had a blast! Not only is the ambiance top tier so is the food and atmosphere. We felt the need to tip the DJ! The drinks were strong and completely worth every cent. Our server Leo was not only knowledgeable, he was patient, kind, and so much fun! We got the margarita flights and the Caribbean flights, we only got their passion fruit margarita with Don Julio which I highly recommend. We did not favor any of the appetizers for brunch, but brunch is a meal not a starter lol. I got the “Back To Life” with calamari, shrimp and mussels! The Caribbean breakfast was also delicious, and the pancakes were amazing.

Visited this restaurant with my family for dinner and had a truly delightful experience. The music was enchanting, the food was served promptly and arrived piping hot, and the ambiance struck a perfect balance between upscale sophistication and relaxation.

The highlight of our evening was the exceptional service provided by Gregory. His genuine recommendations elevated the dining experience, showcasing a rare quality of attentiveness and knowledge, particularly for a newer establishment like this one.

Parking was fairly convenient, as we found free street parking a short walk away further down the street.

While all the dishes we tried were satisfying, the Margarita’s were undoubtedly the standout.

Pricing felt very reasonable, especially considering the extremely generous portion sizes.

I’ve been to the other two locations, unsurprisingly this one is another home run and my personal favorite for its vibe.

One minor suggestion: bag hooks for the ladies on the standard tables. I know they had them for the bar but I recommend having attachable ones for the other tables (unless we missed it).

I recently attended a birthday brunch that turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience. The ambiance was cheerful and perfectly suited for a celebratory gathering.

One of the standout aspects of the brunch was the drinks—they were served quickly and were incredibly delicious, adding a special touch to the festive atmosphere. Our server, Christian, was truly exceptional. His attentive and friendly service made the occasion even more enjoyable, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the event.
How can I forget about the DJ, he made the atmosphere rise to another level, talk about how to get a party started. He had the whole table up and dancing!!!! Shout out to him for working the crowd lol
Overall, I had an amazing time at the birthday brunch. The combination of prompt, tasty drinks, live DJ and outstanding service from Christian made it a memorable experience. I would definitely rate this brunch a solid 5 out of 5 stars!

My first time going to Top Mix. I’ve heard of their other location in JP but loved the Cambridge one. Very beautiful inside. The food was so good. Dessert amazing. My friends had drinks and loved them. I had the Tropical Grilled Chicken bowl. It was bomb but the bowl? It was way too much food for the tiny bowl they served it in. I would recommend a wayyyyy larger bowl just saying. I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s mentioned this feedback. The food was falling everywhere as I was trying to eat and I had to ask for a side plate to spread the food out because all my food was falling out of the bowl. Other than that the food was so good. I will definitely be coming back.

First time here and I loved the experience! Our waiter was very friendly, enthusiastic, and really helpful when I had questions about certain items on the menu. The music and atmosphere was ethereal. If you want to take photos this is the place to go (the lighting is a bit dark so I would suggest sitting close to the bar area).

As for the food, I had Churrasco steak with mofongo. The steak itself was great with the truffle cream sauce, but the mofongo was a bit dry for me. The truffle parm calamari was great and the espresso martini was out of this world! Bread and the chocolate cake were decent as a treat to share with the group.

Would recommend if you’re not picky with food. A bit on the pricey side but great for large groups or birthday dinners (we had a birthday girl and they did a whole performance!).

First time here last night and unfortunately I think this will be my last visit. I’ve never been here before but when I came in, I visited with family. They had been following this restaurant online & speaking highly of them from IG for quite a while. Great reviews, amazing pics of food and so naturally I was super excited to try this place since I had never been. The best thing I can say from my experience was it’s music, my booth seat & my waiter, Cristiano because he was awesome & very sweet! Loved his fun personality, his charm and was really welcoming. Even though we had hiccups with the food & drinks, he was gracious to accommodate and help us order something else from the menu to help give us a good experience.

Now when it comes to the food, I am not as impressed as I would’ve liked, which for me I really really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I didn’t. For drinks we first ordered 2 “Across the Tijuana Border”, which were good and had a nice kick however the overall experience wasn’t much of a drink. Had more Tajin flavor than anything. For another round of drinks I just stayed with a water and only a Mango drop drink was ordered made with tequila which was better than the first round of drinks. For apps we got the Shrimp Ceviche, which was good but had an overly amount of red onions. I liked the other veggies in there but the red onions were overkill. I wanted a bit less than the veg and more plantain chips added; but it was good with flavor. For dinner the scallops & gandules risotto was delish! Tender, sweet and the consistency/ flavor was really nice. The grilled octopus salad, unfortunately had to be sent back as it was overcooked/ chewy and overkill with the red onions and veggies. Now I get that it was a salad but I think ratio from salad to octopus could be better plus the overall flavor of the salad tasted bitter and not as pleasant.

Shout out to Cristiano again for helping us find something else on the menu which we settled for Ropa vieja with white rice and beans. Now the rice and beans was great and had depth of flavor, however the rope vieja was too salty and had a sauce added that did not belong in the dish. Now as a Latina, from Puerto Rico I have had many ropa vieja dishes before and was hoping for great flavor. Unfortunately this also fell flat and we did eat the dish but it was more for us feeling hungry and did not want to put Cristiano through another let down of food. When asked regarding the chef in the kitchen, it was noted to us that the original chef was out on surgical leave and they had replacements in the kitchen. Therefore, it was clear that we did not have a great one experience due to original staff not being present. We did not order dessert for the fear that it may or may not have been good and so we just paid the bill and thanked our waiter which concluded our evening.

Again, the atmosphere & restaurant itself here in Cambridge is gorgeous. The vibe, its music and people (staff) is so on point as I did enjoy that. It’s what made me so excited to be here but the food is really my only issue. I truly hope that some of these issues can be fixed, the main head chef can make a speedy recovery (come back) and perhaps I may consider going back a second time. However for now, I will say come on in for drinks, music and a good time but be sure when ordering food that you speak with your waiter first, check for the consistency & taste value on each item.

One of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. We were seated promptly, but it took 15 minutes to get a waitress and that is because I asked for one. We ordered two drinks another 30 minutes wait. The couple that was seated at the table next to us after we ordered our drinks got their two drinks first. I orderes two appetizers. One came out 35 minute later cold and then 20 minutes later we got the calamari. That was another disappointment. At least my companions espresso martinis were decent. My margarita flight and spicy margaritas were more ice than anything. My entree was also below average. I was very disappointed. I have always visited the other two Top Mix and I never had a complaint. I have always been a repeat customer at the other two locations. These were the longest 2 and half hours I had to wait for slow service and subpar food. There’s also an automatic 20% tip even if the service was horrible. Mind you if the service is excellent I tip more than 20%, that is not an issue for me. It was funny though after getting our rolls they came out with two more roll orders about 15 minutes apart.
