Just picked up this pizza from Gianorios in Winfield. New to the neighborhood and a Winfield lifer suggested it to me. I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews given the heavy competition around – it’s so bad. The original thin crust is not thin at all if you’re looking for tavern style. It’s more like a pan. Now, they do have an ultra thin crust, but the person who picked up the phone said the orignal thin was the most popular. The dough was undercooked, the cheese was piled on, and the sauce is meh. Got a side of ranch and you could tell it was hidden valley style – gross.
I normally never go this far to write a negative review, but this pizza was worse than something you get at a stadium in my humble opinion. My kids barely ate it too lol.

I can’t possibly say enough about Gianorio’s pizza. This is the best pizza I have ever had in my 73 years, and I’ve had a lot. I make my own and can’t duplicate it.
YOU CAN’T LOSE. They’re only open 4 hours a day Wed. through Sun. They don’t deliver- they don’t have to and can’t keep up with the demand they get. There are two of them, the best of which is in Winfield Illinois, the other is in Lombard Illinois. Their deserts are also some of the best we’ve EVER had. “Get some” is all I can say.

The regular thin crust is the best and has an awesome (just right) amount of cheese. It’s usually ready in 30 minutes but it’s pick up only, no delivery or sit dow. Still the best thing crust in town.

It’s like $75 for a jumbo classic 6 (The best, see website) and a large cheese. The pizza is fantastic, you know you’re in for something when the box weights more than 3lbs. The only thing I don’t like is waiting almost 2 hrs for your order(This was Friday around 6 ordered at 4:09pm)

How am I just finding this place? The business runs like a well oiled machine. The pizzas are loaded with ingredients and are very tasty. I ordered a 10 inch stuffed pizza and was full after eating one slice. This has never happened to me before it was crazy heavy! Staff was super friendly and food was ready on time. They have great desserts too. Definitely going back

I am 50 years old and about 40 of those years I have lived in the Chicago suburbs. It goes without saying that I have eaten a lot of pizza! I have tried all the “best” pizza places around. I know some like thin crust, or thick crust, stuffed or even pan pizza, they are all good, right!!?? Well, this place is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. The crust isn’t thin, nor is it what I call thick. What it is is crunchy and delicious! The sausage has an old-time flavor that is unmatched. If you live anywhere close to this place( and I mean within 30 min drive), and you love pizza, you MUST give this place a try. So, so good…..

This pizza was fire! I’m normally a super thin crust guy. This was a little thicker but I was still pleased. The outer crust was awesome. Tons of cheese and plenty of toppings. This pizza ranks near the top of my all time favorites list. Garlic bead with cheese was equally as good and a turtle bar for desert was super tasty. Will definitely be back.

Best pizza in the area and we have 6 places within 2 miles. However, they don’t always answer the phone, don’t offer deliver, and have limited hours.

unbelievably good sauce, great dough and cheese too. if you don’t like a lot of cheese, ask for light cheese and they’ll fix you up. frozen/ready to bake take out options are strong as well. Best pizza in the suburbs
