Great experience. Jake, Isaac, and the whole bar team were awesome. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The Dynamite was excellent, the Red Dragon roll special was a standout, and the mocktails were really well done too.

Been twice now and both times food was absolutely delicious. Can’t say the same about the attention to detail as both times I asked for lemon for my water which was never brought. Ordered the chicken tempura that came out tasting very burnt. I would not recommend. The guilded Bee was outstanding along with the hand rolls we ordered. The highlight was the lobster potstickers

My second time here, same situation… The atmosphere is truly impressive—it’s a beautiful, sophisticated space that sets high expectations. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was average at best. While the ingredients were fresh, there was nothing exceptional or innovative about the dishes, especially considering the steep prices.
Service was equally disappointing. It felt as though we were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. We waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and after requesting the check, it took another 45 minutes to arrive. To top it off, for our party of six, gratuity was automatically included—a real surprise given the subpar experience.
You’d be better off heading to any average sushi spot in town, where you can enjoy comparable food at a fraction of the cost with far better service. I’m happy to splurge on great meals at places like Little or Madre, but Japango was simply a waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience. Server was attentive but distant enough to allow us time to enjoy our meal. Food was high quality. The nigiri melted in my mouth. We went for lunch. The Sushi Roll presentation was somewhat dull but the taste more than made up for it.
Very excited to have a quality Japanese food destination!!

My husband and I came here for happy hour. Love the aesthetic of the place. Clean and vibe was cool. Good to know we dont have to go to Boulder to try this place when we have one right in town. We are foodies so I had to try many things. We ordered apps such as goyza, steamed shumai, pork belly, seared beef app, fried tofu soup with mushrooms, green mussels, and miso soup. The pork belly was delish and prob the best app. We also ordered seared scallops, a Maki roll, a hand roll and Chicago roll. Sushi was good but always room for improvement. For cocktails, we ordered the cold sake which was yummy and the espresso martini drink..I would say I wished it was more thick and shaken more. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here because of our waitress Autumn! She told us it was her first night working there too! She was very pleasant and wonderful so I wanted to give her big kudos!! The bill came out to be $170 and we tipped Autumn 25% in addition

We loved the gyoza and would order it again. The tofu with mushrooms, while tasty, was just way overrated and we couldn’t finish it. The handrails were fun and unexpected. Not shareable. It’s like having a single ice cream cone made of nori. Definitely still pricey on happy hour.

Wonderful! A great spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion! Very good food. The Teriyaki Salmon was amazing! In the center of the dining area, there is a tank displaying live Jellyfish, which is intriguing! Street parking can be difficult to find, but there is a parking garage in walking distance.

Great atmosphere they even have a jellyfish tank. Sushi tastes great, one roll didn’t hold together. Happy hour apps were great, pork belly was good but portions were very small 3pcs. Our favorite thing was the brussels sprouts they were great!
