Ordered food for delivery to door through Uber eats, uber notified us that the merchant delivers the food themselves from this store so we won’t have the feature that allows us to track them as they are on the way to use so this is someone from the restaurant that behaved in this manor. We waited over an hour and an half for our food. Upon arrival they called and stated we needed to meet them at their car instead of them entering the building and going upstairs to our door. He rudely stated we needed to hurry up because he cannot wait. Once we got back into our apartment we realized 1. They gave us the wrong soda. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but they called to say hurry up yet couldn’t call to ask what soda we would like to replace the one we asked for. 2. No utensils nor napkins. 3. I pull all the food out of the bag and immediately notice this is not vindaloo. I order that dish at least once a month, sometimes even multiple times a week. I’ve had vindaloo from so many different restaurants I know exactly what it’s supposed to look like, I see it and think ok MAYBE they just cook it a little different so I open it and there isn’t a single vegetable like what comes in vindaloo, if you look on their own website you’ll see it pictured there with bell peppers and onions. What I have before me is butter chicken. 4. Not only is this not what asked for but it’s the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what went wrong with that recipe but it’s horrible. 5. I ordered shrimp and lamb, paid $2 & $3 extra for these instead of chicken but chicken is what they gave us in that nasty sauce. AND the chicken was cubed. Once again the store didn’t call to ask if we would like a substitute bc they are out of veggies or shrimp or lamb, they just gave us a bland much cheaper, lesser quantity item. Why can they call to rush us downstairs without prior warning that they were going to ignore the delivery instructions but they can’t call about this discrepancy? 6. (Yes there’s more, that’s exactly why I’m leaving this review) They gave us a very small portion of rice that wasn’t even cooked properly. After all that being said, their naan was big and fluffy, not greasy and overall the best I’ve had in a while. Almost makes me forget about the fact every single other aspect of this order has been terrible. Save yourself the energy, skip the “convince” of having it delivered, just drive yourself there :/ in response to their response – As I stated the staff was extremely RUDE and borderline aggressive when calling for us to come outside, regardless of the snow THAT BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I have my entire order history on uber eats, I can see that I selected utensils. My apologies for putting vindaloo but as you stated it was JALFRAZI WHICH COMES WITH VEGETABLES LIKE I STATED BEFORE! IT WAS CHICKEN NOT LAMB OR SHRIMP I WILL ADD A PHOTO TO SHOW THE DIFFERENCE IN SAUCE, MEAT AND LACK OF VEGETABLES, if we order vindaloo there would be potatoes, if I order jalfrezi there would be bell peppers. I know what I’m talking about, this is butter chicken. As I stated before yall should have called about the soda instead of deciding we would get whatever yall felt like giving us. Uber eats gave me a partial refund but I still needed to leave this review so everyone else knows what to expect since my refund won’t be processed for 3-10 days I wouldn’t want anyone else left hungry because yall gave them something inedible. Pictures are added. This is cubed chicken not lamb which would be darker nor is it shrimp OBVIOUSLY. You can also the the complete lack of vegetables. One we started to eat since we had nothing else but it was disgusting so we didn’t finish it and you can see the other is completely untouched. I have flash on in the first picture so show that is clearly marinated chicken, not lamb. Both are exactly the same. Flash is off in the second picture but both bowls are exactly the same and neither are what we asked for. Don’t spend y’all money here. Rude and liars.

I usually get the chicken vindaloo, which is good, but I tried the butter chicken and would stay far away from it. The first time I ordered it, it was good, but there was an incident, and the staff offered me a credit, which I appreciated. About a week later, I used that credit to order butter chicken again. This time, the dish was extremely watery and very acidic, with a tomato sauce so strong it left a sharp, tingling sensation on my tongue, similar to eating too much pineapple. When I called to let the staff know, the response was dismissive, saying sometimes it’s sweet and sometimes tangy, and nothing could be done. While their customer service is usually good, this experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning. I would caution others against ordering the butter chicken.

Love the food but I ordered delivery straight from the restaurant for the first time and my order took almost an hour even though I live barely a 4 minute drive away. On top of that, the delivery driver thought it was a good idea to drop my food off on the ground and just go. It’s one thing if I ordered from DoorDash and requested they do that but it’s wet and snowy outside and I expected to be met at the door with my food; not to find it just sitting on the ground outside in below freezing weather just shy of an hour late and mostly cold . Once again love the food and it’s always good but the service this time has really left a bad taste in my mouth

We got last minute catering for 20 people for a Christmas party. We had 2 vegetarians and 1 vege/GF and they out did themselves! The food was delicious and the GF was even able to eat as most food items were not cross contaminated. The food was promptly ready and so delicious! Thank you!

Simply delicious! I order led mango lassi, kheer & tandoori chicken for takeout. Packaged well, generous portions, flavorful and tasty! Only took them about 10-15 minutes for my order & I’ll definitely come again! Great customer service & they are friendly ☺️

What a GEM I attended a neighborhood Xmas a party that Kohinoor provided the food for. We all pitched in and split the cost and just wow very reasonably priced, ample portions of everything. The food was party friendly and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful time and I would say that Kohinoor played a vital part in the success of our annual Christmas party.
Please give them an opportunity either by going to the restaurant or by having them cater food for your event.

Mixed feelings – skip the chicken wings‼️My chicken wings were bloody on the inside and I received a squirt of ranch (pics below). BUT something beforehand was telling me not to get them, so the universe tried to save me ahead of time but I forced it.
However, the CTM pizza and lamb Cho mein, were FIRE!! Like so damn good, it stopped me from coming back and being irate about my blood wings.
I wish the pizza was a little thinner and had more sauce spread out, but still extremely good. I’ve never had a lamb chomein and I hope they keep it as good as it is.
Get here but skip the wings. Customer service and establishment were nice.

Amazing food and service! This time we served a big group of our friends/neighbors and they loved it all especially the Butter Chicken. Many of them appreciated that so much of the food is naturally gluten free.

Been here a couple of times. The last time I came, it was with my Nepalese cousin. We ordered the chicken and veg momos. They were amazing. They make the food as you order them, so it takes a while to come. It’s definitely worth the wait. The chutney that you get with the momos is amazing. The place is a little small and shabby. Definition of “hole in the wall”. I love this place..only problem is parking. You have to park on the street and walk a bit, but it’s worth it.
