Made a drive by stop, we grabbed the ox tail and jerk chicken with rice and cabbage. Both dishes were good. The owner was very nice as well.

A Taste of Home: Incredible Food and Unforgettable Hospitality
Our visit last night 10/25/25 stepping into this spot felt less like entering a restaurant and more like being invited directly into the owner’s vibrant, bustling kitchen. The food is, without exaggeration, out of this world. Every single dish we tried—from the first bite to the last—was prepared with a level of care and flavor that is truly rare.
What made the experience so special was the owner’s incredible generosity. She clearly loves what she does, and she shared that passion freely, offering us samples of several specialties as if proudly showing off her home cooking. It was that genuine, hands-on attention that created such a warm atmosphere. This isn’t just dining; it’s a wonderfully intimate and delicious experience where you leave feeling nourished, appreciated, and completely inspired. We’ll be back soon!

Indira is so nice a great host. Her food is awesome. My favorite are the ox tails with rice & beans. I’ve tested all her foods and they’re great!
I encourage everyone to check her out and try her different dishes. You won’t be disappointed!

If you’re looking for that real Jamaican taste, just go somewhere else. I had the curry chicken with rice n peas -0/10 . Taste like a wannabe Jamaican food. Highly disappointed. Couldn’t even finish it

Indra was like eating at my grandmas . The food was served hot nit overly seasoned just perfect. The portion size was generous. Peas and rice brown stew chicken cabbage macroni and cheese . Everything was delicious. The owners were very friendly. Very easy to find right off 211 on dunning plenty of parking. Don’t hesitate.

If I could choose no stars, I would. Yes portions are big and fair pricing. The food is absolute trash. I took one bite of stew chicken, one bite of a plantain which I spit out, and one bite of the rice and peas. The chicken tasted old and dirty, no stew sauce flavor. The plantain tasted like only oil. The rice and peas had gravy as requested, tasted like oil. Waste of time and money and was still hungry for lunch. Get a real Caribbean cook in there.

Indiras has the best Caribbean food in Middletown! Matter of fact… Indiras has some of the best food, period, in Middletown.
Everything I’ve had has been delicious and reasonably priced. They get you in and out in no time and there’s also a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is warmer.
Skip all the chains nearby and go here and support a local business! Seriously you won’t be disappointed.
