One of the best shabu shabu places I’ve tried in Irvine. They serve a half-half flavor broth which is included in the price, all the broths cost the same. I liked half classic and half sukiyaki, as the meat goes well in the sukiyaki broth. All meats and vegetables were extremely fresh and good quality compared to other places, especially a certain popular Chinese chain around here.
They have a cool Japanese rice dispenser machine as well. Pic included. I was also surprised at how good the wagyu beef curry was, not spicy but extremely delicious.
Of course, don’t skip the included dessert as well, ice cream of your choosing
Also want to give a shout out to all the servers here! They were extremely attentive/hardworking and proactively asked for any needs!
I’ve had Momo paradise in Asia as well and this might be even better than the Asian branches.

The meat quality was good but the sauce was so so. I wish there were more sauce variety. Service was great. The staffs were very friendly attentive and nice. I love the complimentary hot green tea.

I love this place! I visited with my family during their soft opening, and we had a wonderful experience. We ordered the MoMo Experience Menu and enjoyed every meat option–especially the pork belly, which is always top-notch and consistently high quality across their other locations. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made it a great spot to spend time with my family. The service was excellent as well; our server was friendly and checked on us often. Highly recommended!

Super clean, relaxed atmosphere, and great food. I was surprised when I first entered the doors because I was familiar with the previous restaurant that was at this location, and I was shocked when I saw how many renovations they made. The Interior was incredibly clean spacious.
As for the food, the meats were all incredibly fresh and didn’t appear to have ever been frozen, the salad bar was very clean and fresh, and their macha latte was absolutely delicious!

This place is new and took over after Irvine Shabu Shabu had a fire.
I really like the setup. You get to pick your own array of veggies, meatballs etc and they offer split pots for 2 flavors. The veggie variety is really good.
And I am totally obsessed with their wagyu curry rice!!!

I previously visited Momo Paradise in Rowland Heights, and I’m pleased to note they have now opened a location conveniently close to my residence. As always, the establishment maintains exceptional quality in both meats and vegetables, and the overall experience was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the beef curry. For those seeking a high-quality shabu-shabu experience, I highly recommend this restaurant; the service, meals, and beverages are consistently excellent. Our experience was truly remarkable, solidifying its position as my preferred shabu-shabu restaurant.

During my visit, I personally witnessed kitchen staff handling ice with bare hands and tossing it directly into food/ingredient containers, without wearing gloves or using any utensils.
Ice is a ready-to-eat item, and this kind of handling raises serious hygiene and food safety concerns. This is not acceptable and falls below basic food safety standards.
Because of this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to others. Management should take this issue seriously.
