The food quality here is consistently high. Their Military Ghee Roast Dosa is a personal favorite—perfectly crisp with a rich, buttery aroma that pairs beautifully with their signature sambar. If you are with a group, the Super Paper Dosa is always a crowd-pleaser for its sheer size and crunch. For those who like a bit of a twist, the Keerai Cheese Garlic Dosa offers a unique fusion that is surprisingly savory. The chutneys are fresh, and unlike many places, they don’t skimp on the coconut.
Pricing is another strong suit. While it feels more premium than a local street-side stall, it remains very affordable for the quality and portion sizes provided. A meal for two usually fits comfortably within a moderate budget, making it an excellent “value for money” spot for family dinners or a weekend treat with friends. The service is prompt, and the staff is polite, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
The order of Rasam Vada – Server brought it separately, so sent back. The Manager came to ask, I showed him pic of how it is served. So he said Ok. But by then next item was already on table. So requested to server later, didn’t accommodate, brought any how. It was wasted. Good part, it was not billed as explained his error.
Tomato Uttapam – Very mediocre, didn’t felt like Utthapam, less tomato and all burnt yellowish, cabbage shreds sprinkled.
The wati was all spoilt(see pic), reasoning given “samabhar se asia ho jata hai” Gyan mat de bhai, naya cutlery la.
The staff behavior was excellent—very polite, friendly, and helpful. From taking the order to serving the food, everything was done smoothly and with a smile, which made the experience even better.
The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a comfortable ambience, making it a great place for families as well. Overall, great food with outstanding service. Highly recommended, and I will definitely visit again!
Highly recommended!
The place for the best taste of Sambhar and Dosa, Uttappa and Dahivada.
We have tasted Maisur Masala dosa, Cheeze Masala dosa, Mix Veg.Uttappa, Idli, Sweet Dahivada…
Awesome taste served with 4 types of chutney and hot sambhar which are the enhansers to our order…
At last they gave Mitha Paan which is too very nice.
Over all it is the best place for real south indian taste…
I don’t live in Nadiad, but I visited this place with my friends because of its name and my craving for dosa. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The service was extremely poor, and the food quality was terrible. I felt embarrassed in front of my friends for bringing them here. We were already sitting in a good restaurant, but just because of my craving for dosa, we all left and came to Sankalp — and it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Nothing was worth the price or the reputation they claim to have. Honestly, smaller local places serve far better testy food with much better hospitality. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
