Every time we go- it’s a 10/10

We LOVE it here! Every single staff member makes sure you are well taken care of. The menu is unreal. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. I don’t have more words- it’s just incredible. See the pictures- 10/10 lol

Enjoyable first experience at ITA101, both for the food and atmosphere. With the exception of the tableside tiramisu (decent taste, just not the biggest fan of the execution) I would order all dishes again and would love to try more offerings.

This is a tremendous “one of” restaurant. The food is outstanding, the story is great, and the menu is rolling, specific dishes from different regions of Italy. Yeah, it’s gonna cost a little more than reheated frozen food at other places – you pay more for quality.

If you want Americanized Italian food, this is not the place for you.

If you want leftovers for days, like most Americanized Italian restaurants, this is not the place for you.

This is a special place for those who appreciate high quality food made with high quality, local ingredients. It IS small – that adds to the character. You MIGHT have to wait a little longer for your food – there is one chef and a sioux chef preparing every dish.

The negative reviews are mind-boggling, and should be taken VERY lightly, if you’re trying to decide on whether or not to eat at ITA.

I would suggest you go to their website and read about it, review the menu for that week/weekend, and then you won’t be mystically “surprised” by the “small” portion size. If you’re looking for trough eating, please don’t go and then leave an ignorant review because you didn’t know where you were going, or frankly, anything about the place you chose to eat at.

ITA101 is a 5 star restaurant. It’s specific and it’s special. We’ve eaten there on many occasions – just the two of us, us and our two sons (20 & 26), us and two others, and had birthday dinner with 6 people – all over about 6 months. Consistently excellent food and consistently excellent service. Outstanding.

Our daughter recommended ITA101 as a great place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. We made a reservation, and we’re blown away by this fabulous, quirky, wonderful little restaurant. Our server was absolutely amazing, she patiently answered all of our questions regarding the small but interesting menu.
My husband opted for the 5 course Pasta Tasting, which is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It consisted of a chicken liver pate appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, one with scallops and squid, and the other with shishito peppers, and delightful saffron infused risotto/sausage offering. This meal also included wonderful strawberry-bavarian cream pie for dessert. All for $45.
I chose a lovely salad that included pears, sorrel and a delicious, very light dressing. For my entree, it had to be the Angel Hair Pasta Bolognese. Another stellar selection!! ($40) I ended the meal with a cappuccino and “the best chocolate mousse on the planet,” according to our server. The mousse was very dark and rich; it sat atop a bed of wine soaked pears, and and was topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
This little gem of a restaurant has maybe 16 tables, it’s charming, beautiful, slightly rustic, edgy, and fun. BONUS: it’s also a byob, and quite affordable.
We were there for 2.5 hours, talking and laughing, eating and drinking, and having a great time. We will return.

My family just had a private party for my husband’s birthday here.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Ana was communicative from day one of planning. The staff was accommodating and kind to our entire family, including my two year old niece who spent the entire 4 hours playing and exploring the restaurant. The food, as always, was phenomenal. Our extended family said they finally understood why we rave about this restaurant.

ITA101 is one of our favorite restaurants and we will continue to be patrons for many years to come.

Food is good. Pastas are definitely the star. Freshly made. With a menu that changes weekly/regionally it’s easy to find something different each visit. If you see taleggio focaccia, get it.

It was a fine dining experience! The food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. It’s always busy, but thankfully, when we arrived, it wasn’t too crowded. So, if you want to go, I recommend making a reservation rather than walking in.

Had dinner reservations for 4:30pm. Not busy at all. Left by 6 and more people showed up but not crowded. Food came out a little slower than expected but our server was kind and attentive.

The restaurant is clean and modern however there were about 3 flies flying all over our faces and food so that was super annoying.

For apps we started with the octopus. The flavors were phenomenal but the octopus was a little tough. The portion is also tiny for comparable prices at other places.

The 2 pasta dishes we got were delicious. Really love the homemade pasta texture and taste. Both dished were seasoned well and full of flavor. For the cacio they went a bit overboard with the cheese. Ended up clumping into a large pile.

For dessert we got the apple cake which was awesome. Wish it came with more whipped cream.

While we were eating dessert, a table next to us ordered a fish dish. It came out with such a pungent smell of fish it almost killed our dessert appetite. I’m not sure what it was but no fish dish should smelling that fishy it was crazy.

Atmosphere is super cozy and fancy. It’s perfect for a special night out.

Delicious Food
Every dish we tried was super tasty and authentic Italian food. My favorites were the scallops and chocolate dessert with a crunchy touch.

Fun Experience
Watching the staff make tiramisu right in front of us was so much fun! It made the meal feel extra special.

They have a very special Italian dishes. Very tasty. Specially the deserts are great.
Unfortunately this time was really a disappointment. The octopus was very hard, the tartuffo had no flavor at all. Service level was really not good at all.
