The food was simply amazing!
We started our meal with drinks. I got the Mullet Mary. Nice with spice!
Coke products for the soda, btw.
Our appetizer was the boneless chicken wings. We got them naked with the sauce on the side. The sweet chili oil made my mouth tingle with joy! Oh, everyone else really liked it, too.
I had The Barnyard Burger; a half pound burger, pulled pork, bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce, pepperjack cheese, and a fried egg! This thing was huge, I could barely get my mouth around it. I also ordered the cheese curds. They had a very light breading that let the cheese shine. These are not the cheese curds you’re use to. These are the squeaky Wisconsin natural curds! Yum!
My husband got the Slider Trio. He wanted to try more than one burger, so he chose to have all three burgers different. There are 3 choices, the basic Cheeseburger, the Wild West, and the Italian (made with Italian sausage), you can have any mix of them. He also couldn’t decide between fries and onion rings. He got both! We agree, these were both delicious, and the onion rings are homemade!
The son type adult child, who was the reason we were out, got the Nashville Hot Chicken. He loves spicy food and enjoyed this giant, far too big for the bun, slathered in Nashville spice, chicken sandwich! He also got the fries.
There were to-go boxes all around, as this was a lot of food, but too good to leave behind!
My ONLY issue was, the tables were a little too high, or the chairs were a little too low. I felt a little like a little kid at the adult table.
I would absolutely go back, and we plan to!
Parking was a challenge, so I was worried the place would be packed. The website offered a waitlist, but it assured me there was no wait and to come on in. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find ample seating! (The field house next door shares the same parking lot, making restaurant look busier than it is.)
Highly recommend!
Still we had a very positive experience. Very nice staff.
Fun & funky atmosphere, amazing service, fantastic food!
Atmosphere was also family friendly. The music was at a respectable volume, so hearing conversation around the table was easier than we find at some places. We will frequent this welcome addition to Norwalk.
Just went to have lunch with a friend as she had not been to Norwalk location and she loved it as well. We also got food to go for my friends boyfriend . So yummy highly recommend!!!!!! Thank you!
The food was scrumptious! We ordered the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Wake ‘n Bake pizza. Portion sizes were very large, enough to have leftovers.
The atmosphere was cozy. Large windows was nice touch. Really liked the butcher block tables. A tad loud, but not to the point you couldn’t talk to the person next to you. We would certainly come back in the future!
