Pulled in here while in a weekend motorcycle trip for lunch. Very glad I did! Fantastic country cafe! I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was perfect. Juicy, seasoned like a good old fashioned backyard burger. The onion rings were large, crispy and piping hot. Our waitress was speedy and very friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I drive for almost a little over an hour there just for chicken livers. Once they were closed for a wedding and once the delivery truck had not ran. Both times I was overwhelmed with the way I was treated. They did everything I could imagine to accommodate me. I definitely will keep going back. Never disappointed.

Good service. Excellent atmosphere. The building with its log cabin feel was the best part of my visit. Most sides have pork in them rather than seasoning & bacon seems to find its way into most of the menu. I definitely prefer to have my vegetables separate from my meats, with salt & herbs to enhance flavors. Growing up southern I know it’s tradition; but this practice makes everything taste the same, & the distinctive taste of each dish gets lost. Will have to ask more questions about the food I’m ordering when I return.

The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly, but slow. The prices were reasonable but the portions were small. All in all, we didn’t regret our visit, but next time we will try somewhere else.

First time there. Excellent food! Great service! Best Country Fried Steak dinner I ever had! My friend had the Catfish dinner and it was excellent! The fillets were huge! The place was clean. We will be going back!

My wife and decided to try something different and drove to New Site to eat here. After having to figure out we seat ourselves, the waitress made us move because she was “cleaning” that area. After getting our food, that was the last time we saw anyone. We had to get our own refills, condiments, extra napkins and then try to figure out how we paid when we were ready to leave. Very poor service and the food was nothing to brag about, the fries were cold and the “sweet” slaw was very peppery. Anyway, won’t be back and I hope it was just an off night as for the horrible service
