It was my first time ordering here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, freshness and promptness. I called the order in and it was ready in 5 minutes. I ordered the speedy Gonzales and it the portion size was huge. It also came with a side of chips and salsa which were also super fresh. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Look, at the end of the day, if you are reading this review, then you (like me) may be looking for some amazing inexpensive Mexican food. And well, you found it. This is a hidden gem in the area and you cannot beat the amazing service and the decent food…and oh my, the COLDEST beers this side of the Chattahoochee (pic for reference). If you want bougie Mexican food, go to those places that charge for chips and salsa or charge over $25 for fish tacos…but if you want amazing grub at an amazing price, this is the place. For reference, family of 3 with several beers, was under $54.

El Torero is legendary. I’ve been eating here since 2000 and it still hits every single time. The cheese dip is undefeated — nothing else even comes close. They have awesome vegetarian options and are always more than willing to accommodate dietary restrictions without making it complicated. Juan, the owner, is an absolute gem — super friendly, always welcoming, and truly cares about his guests. This place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a staple. If you know, you know.

Stumbled upon this unassuming restaurant and it ended up being a hidden gem! Service is fantastic and food even better. Portions are well sized and super affordable. We end up splitting the combo and with the cheese dip it is plenty for two.

Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant in Roswell. Their food has a wonderful mix of flavors. Each item has a standalone taste. I love it. The menu may appear huge, but at its core, it’s pretty straightforward.
The Pollo asado, carne asada and Puerto tacos are outstanding. When I asked about the pork tacos , I wanted to jnow if it was a carnitas style pork. I was told they cook fresh pork right on the stove top. I was a smidge skeptical, but damn. The flavor on the pork married with the sauce was amazing.
I am very impressed with the whole show. The service is great, on top of the excellent presentation. Just as I finished my drink and was thinking about ordering another, here came the girl with a fresh one. Brilliant
This will become my go to spot in the Roswell area.

Significantly on the pricey side for what you get. While the kids meals are supposedly enough for ages 12 & under, in reality for the little bit of food they give they should say 5 & under. At the Roswell location today (17-Aug-2024), the kids meal had 1/2 cup of cooked rice and only 1/2 cup of beans with a very small entrée, which is just too little of food for even an 8 year old girl or boy. After our child had only taken a few bites, I took the attached photo of the kids enchilada meal #5 and as you can see by using the fork for scale, it is a ridiculously small amount of food. Likewise, the adults food is not much better for $15 price. The quantity & quality of food does not correspond to cost.

Would give less than 1 star if I could, I think they have just given up, the owner and one server are there, both grumpy, and they get annoyed if you ask questions, or ask for more salsa or chips, which had the taste of old oil. Chicken was like rubber. The whole experience was depressing, versus having a pleasant dinner outing. Not going again!
