We ordered the Falafel and Grape Leaves as appetizers. Both were delicious. The grape leaves were the best we’ve ever had.
For our entries, we chose the Chicken Shawarma and the Msakhan Rolls. They were excellent. We hope to come back soon.
I have ordered the chicken and lamb Msakhan and boyfriend ordered the chicken Kabsa two different times. The chicken and lamb are fall off the bone tender moist and full of flavor. Falafel and Kubbeh were great.
Highly recommend!!
We try to sit and eat when there is low traffic. Carry out if we think its going to be busy.
The atmosphere has such a warm, homey feel that makes you want to linger, like you’re being welcomed into someone’s kitchen rather than a restaurant. And the baklava? Pure decadence. Rich, flaky, perfectly sweet without being overpowering an absolute must-have to finish the meal.
Petra’s is comfort food done beautifully, with heart, flavor, and authenticity. I can’t wait to come back.
I had hummus, grape leaf rolls, and oozi with chicken. Pita was freshly made. Grape leaf rolls were the best I think I’ve had. The portions were big like everyone else has said. SO good. All of it.
Super quick service, great mom and pop restaurant atmosphere.
Don’t think about it, just GO HERE NOW! It won’t disappoint!
We had the Msakhan (Lamb) and Maqlooba (Chicken). Both dishes were delicious! The portions were generous and we had enough leftovers to take home. Meat was falling off the bone (literally) and incredibly tender and flavorful. The server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely stop in again the next time we’re in the area!
