Had an absolutely great dinner here with my family who came from out of town. The atmosphere was great and the staff was so kind/friendly and not to mention the food was TOP NOTCH. Our family splurged on the king crab (3 ways) and we did not regret it one bit. I was thoroughly impressed and highly recommend anyone looking to have an enjoyable Chinese meal to come here.

We had an incredible experience at Sum Yee Kae Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The food was absolutely amazing and easily the best Chinese food we’ve had in a long time. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared.

The rice hot pot is overly sweet, and the rice is not fully cooked, leaving it somewhat firm. The shui mai lacks moisture and has a rubbery texture, although it does contain large shrimp. The porridge, however, is good. Overall, it’s not a great place, but it’s not a bad one either.

Great service here, super friendly people! Loved their peking duck and their noodle. Definitely come try it out. Will definitely be back to try their dim sum menu! Also, try their milk tea or lemon tea, comes with a cutie little ice bear!

We used to really like this restaurant under the old management (Sun Sui Wah), our first experience to Sum Yee Kae was disappointing. We had several issues with service (forgot to submit our order to the kitchen adding a 20 minute wait; rice did not come). Food tasted okay but was not always plated in an appetizing way (see pic). Do not anticipate coming back for a while.

As a whole family, we went here for lunch and the food was so wonderful and so delicious not only that the atmosphere was so calm and beautiful. Thr ceiling was so beautiful and the decoration around the restaurant was so traditional from Chinese dynasty. One thing the food is the best in town. We are from Texas out of town and we was coming to visit our son new school, but we just love the food here. Wonderful waiters here too
