Great, friendly service but the food was just ok. We were seated right away, but the restaurant started to fill up fairly quickly once we were seated.
I only had their special of the day (crab risotto) and their complimentary bread. The bread was delicious and fresh but I def could have used some oil and balsamic or even a little butter.
The crab risotto had good flavor but the risotto itself was a little too al dente. It was a red sauce with fresh veggies. The crab flavor did come through and while they weren’t stingy with the crab I would have liked a little more throughout the dish.
The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly.
Overall, I’d give Farm and vine a 5/5 — great food, great service, and a lovely dining atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!
Service was nice! Only critique was the timing of the bread coming out and someone offered us grated Parmesan when we were almost done our pasta lol.
Atmosphere was surprisingly lively for a Wednesday night!
Anyway, I made ressies on Open Table and there were lots of available times, even for a busy day such as Father’s Day.
Our server Sam was super friendly and very attentive to our needs…..extra ketchup, extra dressing, cocktails served up vs on the rocks; you name it, we asked for it. She was nothing but accommodating and awesome. You rock SAM!
Food was good and the service was great, however the kitchen was backed up and understandable as it was Father’s Day. Sam made up for it by waiving our corkage fee which would normally be $20 (still pretty darn reasonable if you ask me).
Didn’t take photos of all our meals, but I got as much as I could. Really liked the food & drinks, ambiance, and service. I would definitely return again.
Some notes:
There is a bar with a TV; was able to catch the second half of the Giants game.
Parking can be hard but just drive around. We went on Father’s Day AND there was a farmers’ market.
Portions are a pretty good size.
We had semolina crusted calamari for starters, entree: Paella & Grilled Scottish Salmon, were delicious.
Dessert: Berry Panna Cotta & Creme Brulee , it was so good not overly sweet.
Their service was excellent, our server was really sweet, checked on us in between service. I really enjoyed their food, inside ambience was cozy, definitely would go back to try other items.
Update: so it’s been a year since I wrote this review and now I remembered to take some pictures and a video. The food here is really something special and the pasta is just as delicious as it was. I’ve dined here a few times since a year ago and I will continue to visit this restaurant.
