I recently moved from Los Angeles and was looking forward to finding a great local market, but my first visit here was very disappointing. I spent over $80 on just a few items, including two pounds of carnitas and Mexican sweet bread, but found the quality lacking and the service unprofessional.
When I asked a staff member stocking shelves for the price of a large glass bottle of Coke, she was dismissive and yelled for me to ‘go up front.’ During checkout, the cashier seemed visibly annoyed and abruptly handed me off to another employee who was unfamiliar with the prices, causing further delays.
To make matters worse, the sweet bread I purchased was hard and stale, and the carnitas had no flavor and actually made me feel ill after eating. Given the high prices and poor management of both food quality and service, I will not be returning.

Quick stop on the way out of town after shopping nearby. Table of 5 (3 adults/2 kids). Took a bit to be noticed and seated although we were the only patrons. Server was friendly, but very slow. Adults all ordered dishes with carne asada which was overcooked, tough, and lacking seasoning. Chips and dips were very good, but one small basket went quickly. Friday’s special was free queso with an entre. Only one queso was offered for three entrees and two kids’ meals—was brought out with chips after entrees were served. Upon receiving our bills, prices were inflated by an average of $5 each adult entree. Kids’ meals were listed as $6.99 with a free drink. Bill listed these as $12.99 and each drink at $4. A tip was automatically added to each bill, while a suggested tip amount was also listed below the total. When asked about the prices, the server only agreed that the $4 drinks were in error and pointed at a small sign—by the register and only seen at the time of paying—that indicated prices might fluctuate. Is that even legal?

This was a pretty good place to eat. My wife got the chicken fajitas plate & it was huge, definitely enough for two people to split. I got the carne asada steak with peppers & onions. It was a bit tough but the flavor was good. The beans are actual beans & not the powdered reconstituted paste & my wife absolutely loved them. The Mexican rice was good & their chips & salsa were excellent. I definitely was not disappointed with this place, definitely going back!

Food was delicious. Had azada fries and portion was very filling. Menudo was very tasty as well. Restaurant not very big but it is attatched to grocery store.

Excellent food. They are friendly. I tend to think restaurants attached to grocery stores to be a little more authentic, this lived up. I cant wait to go back and try more.

The food here is great, but the customer service is awful because of two employees. The guy at the register (wears glasses) is extremely rude every single time I come in. On top of that, there’s another shorter guy who, along with him, always makes jokes about me, laughs, and just stares in a way that feels harassing. It’s not only unprofessional, it’s straight-up uncomfortable. I actually love the food, but these two employees ruin the entire experience and make me not even want to come back.

Food was eh. Chips were too hard, the salsa wasn’t fresh…it came from a jar. Service was good except when it came to check…they didn’t bring my change back to table so I’m thinking they thought they would keep it as a tip. I definitely won’t be returning.
