It’s probably been just over a year since I ate here. I remember the food quality being much better. I ordered steak and shrimp fried rice with an order of wings. The shrimp seemed very old and soggy and falling apart. I didn’t eat that. The rice was a little tasteless. The steak was okay. The wings weren’t seasoned very well and had a little bit of feathers but other than that they were okay I guess. The location leaves a lot to be desired. They’re in the corner of this big shady parking lot. I’ve definitely had worse but it does not excuse this food. At about $23 the quality should be much better.

I really was craving seafood boil! I had no clue that Tokyo grill on Summer had them! 10/10 very delicious one pound of shrimp comes with broccoli, 1 egg, potato and corn. I ask for the corn to be replaced for a potato and let me tell you once I got home I really enjoyed it the flavor was on point.

Ordered food online and it said 30 mins to pick up so I waited the 30 mins and went to the location and when I got there it was empty and the lady behind the register was on her phone. Told her I was picking up an order to find out that they never printed the ticket and fixed it. This isn’t the first time eating there and the service keeps getting worse everytime so I think I’m done with them. I will just drive a little further and stick with OEC in bartlett. Awesome food and service.

I barely eat Asian food, so this review is based solely on my 14-yr-old son’s opinion. And he LOVES Tokyo Grill Japanese restaurant. This kid has had me ordering sushi left and right since learning about this place from my vegetarian little brother ☺️
I’ve visited this location on Summer Ave and the one on Austin Peay. I’ve read some of the reviews and I have yet to experience bad customer service or bad-tasting food (which my son would have to confirm). I really hope that doesn’t happen, ‘cos my son loves their food. I’m the one who pays for it, though.
And I’ll tell you another thing, I almost couldn’t find the place because Google Maps GPS signal was so bad! And because of where it’s located…to the back and in between the other businesses off of Summer ♀️ Plus, it also smelled like urine where I had to park

Iv known this place before they even bought the place from another older Asian guy, and honestly they took care of it very well and made it way better and take care of their costumers, I constantly see that it stays busy, I order most of the time a platter of sushi and they hook it up everytime, at times they give me a free soup or something extra, maybe because I’ve known them for a while or maybe just an extra a costumer didn’t take, but they are very nice and the food is great. I would recommend this place, they fill it up with chicken or shrimp or what you order. I honestly eat it at two times most of the time if it’s the rice and meat…etc.

We ordered over the phone and they told us our order would be ready in 15 minutes. We get there 15-20 mins later and have to wait another 30 in the cramped lobby. The food was hot, but the veggies were barely cooked (with zero mushrooms!) and the rice was bland and stale. A drive thru would have been cheaper and better honestly.
