Ordered door dash to go. Arrived on time. No chopsticks or soy sauce. Soft shell crab was ok. California roll was good. Tobago was good. Octopus was tender but slimy. Eel had a weird texture(Rocken Roll). American Dream roll was ok, wouldn’t order again. Fried cheesecake was also ok. I wouldn’t order from this resturaunt again. I would pick up a quick cali roll for my kids here. The lack of care with the exclusion utensils and soy sauce was just careless and had a big affect on the meal.

This is the second time I’ve tried this, and I thought I would give it another chance.

The restaurant was empty, with only three tables (two with four people and one with two) on a Saturday night at 7:30 pm (warning #1).

I still sat down. Let’s give it a try. The server arrived quickly and handed me my menu. Then I waited for her to return and take my order. While I was waiting I overheard her tell the table next to me when she started to bring out the appetizers that she will bring the other waters “when the cups are ready “. Now there were only 11 people in the restaurant, including me (warning #2)

There were at least three empty tables that were dirty with plates, bowls, and used paper on them that looked to have been there some time (warning #3)

Considering all this, I still placed an order. But I have to admit that 5 minutes later, I cancelled and walked out.

If you go to a restaurant, at least the tables should be bused and cleaned, ready for the next client. Water glasses and some silverware should be provided. In a restaurant with at least 10 tables, with only three being used by no more than 10 people, this standard should be met. There is no excuse for not having clean glasses and silverware.

I have not been discouraged from eating in a location because of the sanitation and service.

I am not going to blame the servicer for everything, as she is working with what she has. But the management needs to observe what is going on with their restaurant

I don’t want to typecast, but especially an Asian restaurant when there are so many that have been shut down for sanitation and cooking issues.

EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

You can’t say I didn’t warn you of my experience.

I do not recommend this place, as I will NEVER give this place another try or recommend it.

Wow amazing food here. If you haven’t tried the sushi you are missing out. Best sushi I’ve had in a very long time.

Not sure what has changed here but have been going here for 25+ years. Last few years we have ordered here have been delicious. Maybe tonight was an off day or new chef, but ordered our usual and was really awful. Hardly any sauce or flavor to either chicken dish. The veggie tempura was the smallest order I’ve ever seen was almost comical. The sushi was decent but just something was majorly lacking tonight. Not sure will be ordering again after this. Majorly disappointed.

DO NOT COME HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TOME. we got there, music was blasting. it was only us and another couple in the restaurant, and we still waited 30+ minutes for our food and when it finally arrived, it didn’t even come out at once. the “house salad” was so miserable it was some pieces of lettuce and salty ginger sauce, there was not even one tomato or any vegetables. so i had my steak, if i can even call it that, because it was more green peppers than steak, it came out separate than my fried rice, so i just had the steak infront of me, alone. i “upgraded” my side from regular rice to fried rice, which she ended up charging as a whole separate meal. my partner ordered noodles, and it was so saucy and salty, we asked for more noodles to compensate, which we had to wait 15 minutes just to flag the waitress down, mind you, there was barely any people there, but she was like hiding the whole time, to then wait 25 minutes for them to add the noodles. overall, we would never return. to get the bill, we waited over 20 minutes, and we literally told the waitress, just take our card, we don’t even need to know how much it was, and she kept just saying “one second”. we tried so hard to love it, and i hate leaving negative reviews, but we were just so disappointed i feel like letting people come to this place would truly be doing a disservice to them.

This is a great option for Japanese food in Homestead. The service is amazing, prices are good and the flavors are amazing
They have a small table that recreates the Japanese experience even more; it’s only one, so I hope that you can get it too.
The Beers are also good, just look at the pictures icy-cold jars and Japanese brands.
We love the place, and this is our second time there

A true hidden gem. One of the best authentic Japanese food you can get in South Florida. It has a very “home cooked meal” feel. I ate there once a week for about which explains the multiple photos. Their hours aren’t normal so call ahead if you can.

I’ve been coming here for years, and every time I come it’s the same: Fresh, and delicious Japanese food.

You really cannot beat the lunch deal especially. It is a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The tempura is the crispiest and nicest tempura I’ve had in soflo, and everything else is very delicious.

The shop owners are very nice as well, and are very delightful. It is a small restaurant, but I think it’s worth stopping by if you’re in the Homestead area. A hidden gem!

Tried online service. After about half an hour, the delivery driver calls and says the restaurant has no order for us. Our credit card was already charged and you can’t get hold of a live person to find out what going on.

Ended up going to restaurant in person, canceling the online order. Still unhappy about the confusion.
