4 star, could have been 5star if they bake the bread a little longer

1. Location is convenient. I don’t have to drive to Dearborn for man’oushé (flat bread) if I am nearby for work.
2 Everything is fresh, bread is roll off from a machine at the back and then bake in the brick oven. They need to bake it a little longer because the back of the bread is sort of white.
3. Meat bread is not oily for some reason. more tomato flavor compare to other bakery. Maybe that’s how the owner likes it.
4. Zaatar flavor is mild, herb is not overwhelming. Maybe because I ate it when it was cold.
5. Cheese bread is good, bread is thick like pita bread which is odd.

Nice to see owner sitting there watching the whole operation.

We order bulk here and freeze them at home and warm one up when needed. Love giving these to my kids on the go! Amazing and clean food. Highly recommend!

Classic Middle Eastern bakery with fresh meat, cheese, zatar, and veggie pies. The owner has been baking for a lifetime and this place takes you back in time. Quality food, ingredients and service. Highly recommend

This place makes great fresh baked bread/pizzas. I’m not sure the exact name but they cook them in the stove fresh and they are great for a quick lunch or to warm up later. They have great meat pies, cheese pies, spinach pies etc. I don’t get over here very often except for at work and when I do I stop here for lunch.

Grew up in the middle east and cheese bread and zaatar breads at Maatouk are the only ones that fully satisfy the cravings. (I’ve tried a lot of different places in Metro Detroit)

A sure bet when wanting to buy fresh, made with love & care, authentic Lebanese baked goods. From delicious treats to amazing meat, cheese & spinach fatayer. All made, in house and fresh. We travel 3 hours to purchase the pies, the fresh baked zaatar flatbreads & meat flatbreads & stock up on bags of pita (which are incredibly soft & chewy). Our favorite part is seeing our dear friend who has been baking here for decades. You are definitely greeted well & treated like family. God bless them all. A+

I love this bakery. The lady up front is always soo sweet and I love the guy who bakes. He is a very nice older guy that always greets everyone with a smile. Their cheese pitas are amazing. I tried this place about a month ago and I go back at least once a week to pick food up.
