We usually like the birria pizza here but we decided to try something different. Despite what is on the menu, they absolutely DO NOT have carne asada. What I received was a tough, UN-marinated, flat piece of meat with zero flavor, didn’t even have a hint of salt. Rice and beans were good, but that was definitely NOT carne Asada. Should be renamed the Nada Asada.

Had to wait a minute for the food but honestly calling ahead probably is a good idea if you get their Birria Ramen. So DELICIOUS. The asada and carnitas burritos were so good. Love their red sauce. A great experience. The lady was so nice.

They ALWAYS got the birria (get the pizza or ramen!) So today (since it’s my 3rd time here), I asked for an off the menu item. Without a problem I got the Torta in a “grilled cheese” style with the birria, refried beans on bottom and jalapeños on top, cheese all-round. Paired amazing with the staff recommendation of getting it with the consommé.
It was very delicious and highly recommended! Well priced and greatly portioned, and buttery! Fries were great and I was so happy to not get cheap frozen crinkle fries! Food came out hot and fresh!
The shining star was the staff. They were gracious, accommodating and were genuinely caring (and all I did was order a sandwich). S/O to the Chef for making something different with the same ❤️ I have consistently eaten here. See you guys next time but not soon enough (I live an hour away)! Thank you for a delicious meal

3.5 Stars! The tacos de asada were really good and the red sauce is fire The quesobirria was okay, it definitely needed more cheese. There are no chicken nuggets on the menu for kids and no drinks for kids, unless you don’t mind giving them soda. You order as soon as you come in and pick a seat. If you want chips and salsa, you must request it and it is a charged item on the menu. But again, the tacos were good!

Wonderful food. This is truly a hole in the wall spot with a menu that consists of a poster of photos (with no prices but the prices are very reasonable, I think). Tacos were good, best was pulled pork. Enchiladas were good and not the mushy sauce covered type. Kids taco plate with beans and rice was perfect for our little one. Will return.

Literally amazing! I am so obsessed with the quesabirria. The perfect amount of spicy. I highly recommend Monarca. I have had burritos, quesadillas, tacos and birria pizza as well from here. Everything is incredible.

Not as good as Juniors, but its nearby, and I’ve never met a bad taco. But check out the birria choices!

Genuinely amazing food. New favorite in town. A tad on the pricey side, but so good.

This restaurant has been here for a few years now (I think).I’m hoping they make it because their food is great and the menu is unique. I don’t claim to be an authentic Mexican food critic, but I would say it’s quite refreshing to be offered another option in town that doesn’t have the same approach to this type of food. At the time of this posting, it’s still in the middle of the covid pandemic. With that said, they are doing their best to stay open. The only tough thing to get through as a consumer is having to wait in the drive-thru line for your order. The silver lining is that it’s made-to-order. So, you know it’s fresh. Check out the menu on their drive-up window and try something new!
