Clean and cute decor, good size portions, good service. Takoyaki and pop rock shrimp were delicious. Everything was fresh and served hot. Only two critiques, the added spice seemed to be a chili oil that unfortunately made my whole ramen taste very oily and added no spice. The tonkotsu ramen with no added spice was tasty, noodles had great texture and good amount of toppings. But I do wish the broth was a bit more rich. Looking forward to trying the sushi burritos!

Only recently heard about this place, so we happened to be in the area and stopped by.. wasn’t busy so we were able to order right when we wanted to.. wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Love the visual display they have outside of some of the menu items. The food, amazing. I love ramen and this place hit the spot. I had the seafood ramen (so delicious, the broth definitely absorbed some of the seafood flavor.. it was amazing) and I finished the entire thing. Wonderfully made. My wife picked the chicken ramen. Also very good. I tried some of the chicken and the broth to see a flavor difference.. mine definitely picked up the seafood taste.. the broth in the chicken was nice and mild.. silky smooth.. my daughter picked the firecracker sushi burrito.. very delicious, especially paired with the sauces they offer with it.. the “firecracker” sauce was the perfect match. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait for the one locally to me to open up. Also having Naruto stand guard had me feeling quite at ease. Lol. Go enjoy this place for yourself.

Fast service and adorable shop! Loved the free little anime stickers and prices. However, their ramen was extremely salty and I couldn’t finish even half of it… Way too salty and noodles were plain and not flavorful.

Ramen was ok. It’s a good comfort food for an asian craving for asian noodle soup. The gyosa was a bit different and they served mayonaise instead of soy sauce. But maybe they already adapted to what americans want was sauce.

The deep fried spicy tuna sushi burrito was mostly imitation crab and had maybe 2 pieces of tuna. It was not spicy at all and pretty hard to eat. Not good. The house ramen was bland and salty with not many noodles and my partner was hungry after he finished his bowl. They really should add more noodles and both halves of the egg… The decorations are super fun though! Loved the Naruto theme, we had a blast with it.

In the middle of a road trip we stumbled upon this ramen shop.
Rad corner building with okay parking. Entering was a blast of anime moniters, blonde woods, and a large cherry blossom tree in the center. Super fun and cool.
Ordering food was quickly and easy. Once we received our food I personally was a touch disappointed with the lack of proper presentation. The ramen bowl didnt match the attention to detail that was taken for the ambiance as it really should be with a ramen bowl. With that said, the broth was fine, noodles good, toppings i had to search for as too much broth was added were still there but as stated hard to find. Sorry Zen, please remedy this and I will personally be much happier. All in all, a great experience as I feel others would feel the same.
Put the care of presentation into your ramen as you did with atmosphere and yall got a winner.

The food here was delicious, I usually get Ramen here but I decided to try a bowl just to do a little something different.

My husband had the salmon roll and he really enjoyed it. I had ramen but was disappointed with the tonkatsu broth, it was so watery it made my whole meal bland. The broth is what makes or breaks it. However, the portions are generous and really filled me up. I gave it 4 stars since my husband enjoyed his roll, the service was good, and the decor was quite nice. But I would rate my ramen at 3 stars.

I really hate to say this, but this is my third time leaving a bit sad about how my food turned out here . The chicken was so burnt I honestly thought it was teriyaki sauce at first glance…but nope, it was just burnt chicken flavor and nothing else. I had asked for just a little extra teriyaki sauce on my rice, but it ended up completely swimming in it to the point I couldn’t even eat it, and there was even more sauce poured over the top.
Normally, the meal comes with fresh salad and veggies, but the salad looked tired and wilted, and the veggies were soaked in teriyaki too.
I’ve noticed the food here just isn’t consistent, and the chicken has been cooked differently (and not in a good way) each time. Once my boyfriend ordered kimchi ramen and once he got home and opened his order, there was no kimchi… in his kimchi ramen… It makes me sad because this location is less than 10 minutes from my house, but next time I’m craving Zen, I’ll be making the 25-minute drive to the Lacey location instead.
