It is not your typical dinner spot however it is certainly something to try.
The vibe of this tucked away, hidden bar/restaurant is intimate and moody.
Food is decent however I felt that the focus is on presentation.
I recommend checking them out for your next date night.
Atmosphere felt like a staff canteen in a tech company . Except you would get far better food for free at a tech company canteen
Under seasoned food.
The gnocchi needed either more lemon/ lime or spicy flavours . Same goes for nearly every dish we ordered . Bland, bland and zero flavour . Go to Tescos or Aldi and their ready meals taste a lot better .The only dish I can recommend is the cabbage.
A stark difference in service quality and food when I first came in 2022. Don’t bother coming here , plenty of better restaurants in Dublin .
Overpriced for what is essentially canteen food . Gnocchi was rubbery and over cooked . Oysters were rancid and acidic , quail was delicious , most of the starters ( we ordered nearly all of them ) lacked flavour and were the equivalent of a supermarket reqdy meal . Most of the meal tasted like it was supermarket bought and reheated in the microwave .
Cocktail menu very poor and limited. Overall all the dishes were very bland , under seasoned. Service was very rushed . Plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity like Pichet that are far better value and much better service .
Wouldn’t go back . Go elsewhere
Is recommended to book in advance, we had an issue with our reservation, that we thought we did it but we didn’t, the girl at the entrance was very kind to help with it.
One of my favorite is the chargrilled cabbage with kimchi, and their sheep’s milk blood orange is so good.
Service attentive and the space is cosy but feels open from the high ceiling.
The morel veloute could be slightly thicker so it can accompany the pork chop more easily.
