I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a piece of tiramisu. The sandwich was delicious as the meat was seasoned well. The desert was also rich and flavorful. My wife ordered Penne Ala vodka and felt it was good.
The tables and chairs are of the budget variety and are not comfortable. They are small.
At one point some silverware fell from my table as I attempted to maximize space and organize empty plates for our server. No one came over to help me. In fact one server in a red shirt almost plowed through me as I was picking up the silverware. Some commonsense would’ve went a long way here in the name of good service.
The atmosphere is good. They have live music which is nice but it’s important to get sound levels right for the size of the place. There is a dinning area that is separate from where the live music is going, so a choice of seating is provided.
The bar has a fun and upbeat vibe with games and adjacent tables.
A very strong point is the massive parking lot which comes with electric car chargers.
I’d go back, but be more assertive about directing staff.

I really wanted to like this place as it’s the closest and easiest food place by us but I gave it three shots and every time was worst than the last. The food is just absolutely terrible. We tried the pizza, wings, salad, pasta. None of it was good. People at the counter were nice. Sad the food sucked

Very fun atmosphere on the bar side of the restaurant on a Saturday night, excellent live music band! Decorated very fun and festive for the Christmas season. Food and service were good! We ordered the fluffiest gluten free pizza crust I’ve ever had, pleasantly surprised! Prices are reasonable.

So this is my first and last review as I will never order from here or step foot inside this establishment ever again. I’m only giving a courtesy to this establishment as a warning from a safety standpoint. Today I ordered two cheesesteak subs and a larger pepperoni pizza. I get home to drop off the food and I took off because I had other errands to run. I get back home and find out that they botched the order on the cheesesteaks. Instead of one cheesesteak with only onions and one with what it comes with, the fine crew down at Palermo’s decided it was best to put nothing on the cheesesteaks except meat and cheese. Might I remind everyone that cheesesteaks from Palermo’s come automatically with peppers and onions. Now a month ago I ordered from here but never complained and I should’ve because I ordered a gluten free crust pizza for my wife who has Celiac’s disease. She ate one slice and got very sick because the pizza wasn’t gluten free. The crew in the back need to pull their heads out of their 4th point of contact and learn to read English because I guarantee you that they’re probably not even legal here in this country. Palermo’s is trash! Order form Drafts or somewhere of your choosing.

Man!!! Ever since I’ve moved to PA from NY I haven’t found a pizzeria that comes close to home. Tonight I took a shot and came to Palermo’s, man the moment I walked in I felt that vibe, the people with nothing but smiles, and the service through the roof!!! When the pizza came out I took a bite off the regular slice and it brought me back home both my wife and I said the same thing at the same time… “ITS OVA! We found our spot”… best choice tonight and will continue to come back…

We have given this place multiple opportunities when we have called for take out. We are met with disappointment every time. Ordered a gf pizza got a full gluten pizza which made me sick. Ordered two cheese steaks today and we received them with neither peppers or onions. Person answering the phone is a joke and shrugged off their responsibility. Food is so so. I would rather order from John’s in Hamlin. Probably why they are always empty.

Nice looking enough but food was mediocre. Service was ok due to 300 on a Monday. Few customers. Cheese ravs were in good sauce.

I recently bought a house in The Hideout and just tried Palermo’s Pizza, I will be back! Ordered pizza and wings, both were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was fun with live music playing. Menu was ample, everything coming out to other tables looked delicious and huge portions, can’t wait to return and try more from the menu!

‘Calzone’ wasn’t much bigger than the little sauce cup it came with. Sauce cup was ice cold straight from the fridge. Paid $16 plus tip for takeout. Had been here a handful of times before for pizza which was your typical Poconos style ‘NY pizza.’ Not worth the $$$ Place is a tourist trap, sad for those of us who live here year round

We got to the restaurant at 6:30. Our table of 5 was seated fairly quickly and our orders were put in within 15 minutes of being seated. It took 30 minutes for one side salad and a basket of bread. 4 people ordered salads. None of the appetizers came out at the same time. Took about another half an hour for the other appetizer, then one of our party’s entrees came out on its own. Nothing came out at the same time, nothing was cohesive. We sat for a little over 2 hours. It is obvious the kitchen was overwhelmed with dine in and take out orders. Dine in orders should be prioritized since you have customers willing to come in to your establishment. If we were told prior to being seated that food would be taking 1.5-2 hours to come out, we would’ve eaten elsewhere. Develop a system where you’re not seating tables when the kitchen is that overwhelmed. We’re local and unfortunately do not plan to return. Do better.
