Awesome place! We were looking for something new/different and decided to check out this place. Our favorites were the steak, buffalo chicken, and the apple cinnamon dessert one! Definitely give it a try! Just keep in mind seating is VERY limited <3

Hands down the best pierogis I’ve ever had!
THEY ARE SO GOOD!
Have now been there 2 times and have not been disappointed. The steak pierogies are my personal favorite, and I was skeptical about the dessert apple option but that was quickly shifted due to how delicious they were. Perfectly crispy goodness.
Seems that most people take to go as there are 6 total seats inside, and the staff are great with those dining in as well.

Delicious! Friendly, great variety of pierogies and available toppings. Had breakfast pierogies, added bacon and really what else is there to say. Thank you for great food and wonderful service. PS The Turkey Tureen is very festive on the kitchen table and, “why not”

I would say this is a local hidden gem. As someone who is Polish and grew up eating Polish food, my standards are high. The food was genuinely 5 stars—so good! On top of that, the service and everyone working there is incredibly kind and accommodating.
They also have some American-fusion flavors as well for people who are craving something more American or closer to a taste they’re used to, but they have all the Authentic flavors as well. Highly highly recommend this spot!

I had heard such good things about The Rogi Shoppe for the longest time, and as a Polish foodie, I knew I had to go check it out! It’s a cute little hole in the wall, and luckily we snagged the table there to eat in since we don’t live right in town. They use Rosol’s kielbasa from New Britain which we like, and I was impressed by their creative pierogi flavors like steak and cheese and buffalo chicken that you won’t find in a traditional Polish restaurant. We had the potato & cheddar as well as the steak & cheese – they were good, though I have to admit I was expecting to enjoy it a bit more because of the hype I had been hearing. I do really like the concept though and I love that they’re putting a little twist on Polish cuisine!

I have always loved pierogies, and I have lived in Shelton for many years and have never tried this place. I ordered a bunch of things today and I am extremely impressed. The variety of options they offer are great. I’m glad I finally found a place that has stuffed cabbage. That is one of my favorite dinner meals. The kielbasa is so good as well.The pierogies are excellent and I definitely look forward to ordering again soon; this place is great!

It is a vibrant place, (I only wish that there was more seating space 😉 and the food is excellent. The aroma of their tasty treats met me in the parking lot before ever seeing the restaurant. I strongly recommend this place for authentic foods, warm, inviting people. I took perogies and potato pancakes to a friend in the Milford Mall, offering some to a customer, she told me she had lunch earlier… Food from the very same place?!!! What are the odds?! And, they gave the same glowing critics and recommendations! Thank you. :)))

Food was amazing! Highly recommend. You can order a 6-piece pierogi and request half and half for flavors. I ordered a ton of food with my girlfriend. The steak pierogis were AMAZING and I highly recommend that one during your visit (that’s not to say the others were bad. They were all good). You can buy sour cream if you need it for just 50 cents, you get a good bit of it (plenty for an individual I think).
They have more than just Pierogis, though I think it’d be weird to come here and not try them. We tried the potato pancakes, this was my first time having them and it was delicious. Girlfriend has had potato pancakes before and said they were great. 10/10 recommend

Wow! Saw their Instagram post, started following them and decided to give it a try, did pick up. Place was very clean, organized and friendly! It was Amazing! Even my Italian hubby loved it! I ordered 6 pc potato and cheese with onions, 6 pc steak and cheese with onions and bacon. Pierogis were browned perfectly and fillings were substantial, even the steak ones. Toppings were excellent! Also ordered kielbasa and kraut, the kielbasa was grilled to perfection! Kraut was very good also. Finished with apple pierogis with a caramel drizzle and fresh made whipped cream!
Soooo good! I highly recommend trying out the Rogi Shoppe! I will definitely go back to try more!
