Finally a Irish pub that the server understands what a Proper Pint is. Fun place to hang out and drink. Had the bangers and mashed. Like their version. The mushroom gravy was great. Like the amount they gave. Sausage was good. Great for a group gathering in the courtyard.

Foxy’s was a superb environment — forewarning didn’t drink so no information about the drinks.
The baked potato skins were nice, about what I expected. The pretzel board was really nice, perfect for about 5 people as an appetizer. I ordered the sliders, which were fine although the bun was soggy and they weren’t anything extraordinary. The Irish Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes were excellent.
You’ll get above average pub food here, price point is about what you’d expect for a pub.

Popped in due to curiosity. Glad I stopped in.
Friendly bartender. Prepared my drink just the way I asked. I didn’t order any food but I saw a couple of patrons enjoying dinner while I was there.
Overall a good experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Very cool Austin Irish pub that gets missed. Accidently had been given the holiday drink special menu(they didn’t start it untill the following week),but they made a special drink from that menu for us(once they found out we were on our 1 year wedding anniversary tour!) Very friendly staff. Perfectly poured Guinness! You gotta get the Irish egg rolls they are worth slapping your momma for! Espresso martini was very delicious as well!

We stopped by Foxy’s for a drink last night after dinner and had such a great time! Abby took care of us and was so friendly and fun to talk with. She made me one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had and had great recommendations for a whiskey drink for my husband. Such a fun way to wrap up our Friday night. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently organized an event at Foxy’s Proper Pub and was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail throughout the entire planning process. Sthella was phenomenal—attentive, responsive, and thorough in explaining all costs and event requirements. Her recommendation to use the upstairs space was perfect and ended up being a huge hit with our guests.
On the day of the event, the host team delivered next-level service and made sure everything ran seamlessly. I’d gladly choose Foxy’s Proper Pub again for future events in Austin—or even just for a fun Friday night out.

Needed a place closer to the hotel for some dinner. Foxy’s did not disappoint! Tried the Mangers Irish Cider with the Fish and Chips. The Pecan tarter sauce is very good. Fish was perfectly cooked and the chips were crispy. Sophie (the bartender) provided AMAZING service and kept me laughing. Will definitely come back on my next visit to Austin!

From the planning to the execution everything was professionally handled by the amazing staff. The food, the custom drinks, and the ability to bring in outside entertainment left nothing but happy faces around the bar that evening. Thank you to the staff, we will see you again next year!
