The place is a bit old looking from outside and though it was updated inside you could tell it was an old fast food place. It was very clean though. The food and service was great. It is a mix between fast food and a traditional restaurant. You line up like fast food, but it isn’t cooked till you order it. They said it was a new way of cooking BBQ. It tasted like it was slow cooked. I like the concept, but they could iron out some of the appearance, like the way pecan pie is displayed. It tasted good, just wrapped in plastic wrap. The fried okra was excellent. The ribs were better then Famous Dave’s and the Toast added a little different flare.

Hidden gem for sure! I was in the mood for some tasty BBQ around Memorial Day and was pleasantly surprised that I got that at Dickey’s! The 3 meat dish offers great variety, and the various barbecue sauces just elevate the food even further. The wings were also delicious – they were so plump and tender and tasted so good with the barbecue sauces! I didn’t really taste the “rib rub” of the rib rub wings without sauce, so I just dipped them in the barbecue sauces. Further, even the sides were slamming! I was a little worried about the mac and cheese tasting too much like fast food, but it actually tasted pretty good! More cheesy than spongy, which I prefer! The green beans were also tasty.
I only have a few minor complaints – one is that I wish the portions were a tad bigger for the price. Maybe you get more if you dine in, but the takeout option was a tad limited. Also, the jalapeño cheddar sausage could have used more than a kick. I’ve definitely had better before. Lastly, the Texas toast was definitely the weakest part of the meal. It was so dry and barely had that savory Texas toast flavor!
Overall, I would absolutely come back to Dickey’s – great eats and great staff!

I heard somewhere on social media a while ago that the good was good, so I stopped in to order dinner on my way back from Mount Holly. I bought two identical meals brisket and ribs with two sides. I got the grab beans and mashed for my husband and baked beans and coleslaw for me. It was excellent and I will be ordering one of the family meals after Christmas for our entire family. Definitely a gem that needs more attentions. The owners need to put better signage out front -something that draws attention to the building like flags or bright signs because it just blends in with the landscape and the other businesses. Great BBQ food!!!

If you believe the staff working there, this is just “what the fryer does to chicken” wildly disappointed in our experience tonight. It was so burnt I couldn’t even break it in half while enough to get a picture of the inside looks like.

The people were great…brisket was room temperature, wings were ok..could taste the freezer burn..fried pickles were good..mac and chzzz was what youd get at any franchise plain and boring so was the coleslaw the sauces were ok..didn’t realize this was a franchise anyway I hope the food gets better..shame cause the workers were awesome

Great customer service, professional manager who really cares about the success of the establishment and the employees. The meats don’t have a true smoky flavor and the place needs some music piped in. The sauces needs to be baked onto the wings not just poured on. You do get a good portion of food and the wings are large and not rubbery. They were salty today but usually are not. It’s great to pick up food and have a picnic. I do wish the prices were a bit lower, it’s too high.

Came here on a week night and was so impressed! Really don’t understand what the bad reviews are about. Yes, it is “fast food” BBQ. But with that being said the flavors are surprisingly tasty. We got the pulled pork and sausage sandwich and both were great! Staff was very friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back to explore the rest of the menu. A great addition to Westampton!

They forgot our sides, the BBQ and ranch were missing from all sandwiches so they were just meat and bread so I can’t even say if the BBQ sauce at a BBQ joint is good. They forgot our large French fries. The meat on the chopped brisket sandwich was so tough I couldn’t even bite into it. I called and they told me I could “come pick up the missing items” but I got delivery for a reason.
