The location and what they offered on the menu says it all. You got billiards , a great bar, sushi raw bar. . Food was excellent. Will return again.

The water here was excellent for drinking… the bartender stated they have a triple filter osmosis setup… when asked…

My gosh, I remember this place when my shoes made squelching sounds if I crossed the floor – what a change! New owners, and we were told they’re closing in a few months, then moving somewhere else. I really hope so.
The sushi was the best I’ve had in a while; salmon sashimi? Exquisite. Limited menu but that’s okay if it’s great. Even the spider roll was excellent.
Everything we had there was tasty, the waiters were pretty on the ball (don’t go at shift change though), and the only reason I give the atmosphere a 3 is because it is what it is. I hope the new place doesn’t “smarten up” too much, because it has a lot of character – but better lighting and less of a bar atmosphere would be nice.
a true izakaya, now? That would be amazing!!
By the way, we were told the Bradford sushi chef used to be at Mac’s, which explains in part why the latter has gone downhill.

The wings were great, the fried rice tasted good, but the rice was so poorly executed we ate almost none of it. It was glopy and lumpy, as if they hadn’t washed it before cooking and then for an added measure of awful, they over cooked it.

Food and drinks were excellent. Service was extremely attentive. This is definitely more of a $40-$50/person restaurant, but the quality was beyond par. The oysters were large and fresh. Every appetizer and entree was delicious and well-plated.

For appetizers we ordered the corn ribs, oysters, codtsu, and for entrees we ordered two sushi rolls, the pork belly, salmon, and chicken bao. We’d recommend all the dishes we ordered. This restaurants deserves more than it’s 4-star rating.

This place was an unexpected win! From the outside, it looks like your usual tourist trap beach restaurant that happens to be historic, but it isn’t. I was ready to completely ignore it and go find something else, but then I spotted a sign about ramen and had to check it out, and wow am I glad I did!

Note: I understand that some regulars are disappointed in the transformation from former dive bar to sleeper hit upscale restaurant. I get that; I can only speak to what I experienced as a newbie.

Atmosphere: Dark wood, dim lights, live music that wasn’t too loud or obstructive.

Food: Excellent. They weren’t kidding about their ramen; it really is good. The broth was rich and flavorful and the noodles had great texture. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and richly flavored.

Drinks: I don’t recall what we had but the drinks were good. Nothing super exciting here.

Service: Quick, efficient, unobtrusive but attentive.

Prices: Not cheap, but not crazy expensive. I’m used to DC prices, so things have to be pretty stupid before they raise my eyebrows.

5 stars on their menu! Took two groups of friends over the summer. Had The Destroyer (not my norm) each time. Have gone just ourselves as well. The interior is funky and not fancy or fine but that’s part of the fun. Lovely eating outside a la terrasse!

Great place for food, drinks and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and watched a couple of basketball games while having many local beers and eating the food. Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend this local establishment in Provincetown

Dog friendly outdoor seating available, they even brought the dog some water! Everyone from hostess to waiter were all very nice. Chowder was good, oyster buns was lots of bun very little oyster. Our table also got the burger, fried fish sandwich, and lobster roll. All very standard.

While they’ve got the usual Cape Cod dishes, this is great place for the culinary adventurers. I always try and order a dish that’s unique to the restaurant or hard to find elsewhere…for once I had trouble deciding because the menu was so creative!

Had one of their rolls and a special for the day — halibut with Swiss chard, garlic scapes, shiitake mushrooms, and sesame butter over some soba grain.

The service was slow and unattentive, food was not good. Clam chowder was watery and tasted okay, but Oysters were very bland.

Our table was fun for people watching. Drinks were good and seems like a fun place to hang, I hope the food and service get better.
