I had heard of this restaurant which opened late 2024 and had been wanting to go. I absolutely loved my dinner and will be back. I came with a large party and had a reservation and they did a good job waiting at our table. The ambiance is relaxed and a good dine-in experience.
The food, the most important part. It was top notch.
Khasi ko Masu – was incredibly rich with flavor. The goat was very tender and cooked well. Lots of the bones were hollow so I assume it was cooked for a long time for the marrow to be removed, which adds to the richness.
Special Biryani – this was also very flavorful and I enjoyed all the different meats in it. It was a huge serving as well.
Lamb curry – also very good. The lamb could have been a little more tender, but the sauce was very good.
We had several of the naans and parathas and all were solid.
I also had what I think was called a virgin mango mojito and it was exquisite. Lots of freshly squeezed lime, cilantro, etc. in it. It went well with the mango.
They do spice on 3 levels: mild, medium, hot. I am someone who likes things decently spicy. I found the medium had a nice heat for the Khasi ko Masu but it wasn’t too much. I might try hot next time.
Definitely recommend this restaurant. Servings were generous and fair priced. I hope to see them around for a long time and continue their quality. I want to try out their buffet next.

This family-owned Indian/Nepali restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We had a few questions about some of the dishes, and the waiter was more than happy to explain everything in detail and even make some great suggestions. The food is made from scratch, so I’m sure they can accommodate any food allergies you might have. If you’re in the mood for some authentic Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this place. They also have a buffet from 11:30 to 3 pm, so you can try a variety of dishes.

I absolutely love this little haven of a place. Best Indian food ever and trust me, I have been to many Indian places. The only thing I would say is that they don’t leave the water jug with you they want to keep filling it up for you. I found that a bit annoying but I guess they need the tips

Delicious Indian food ! So happy this restaurant is in Worcester and close by. The chicken tiki masala is so tender and creamy. The garlic naan was fantastic. The service is great and it’s easy parking and fairly priced. If you love Indian food you definitely want to check Desi out!

I experienced a mix-up with my order; however, once I called the restaurant, they promptly addressed and resolved the issue in a timely manner. My meal was delivered to my home without further delay.Although I do not recall the name of the staff member who delivered my food, she was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant.
Thank you for the excellent customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality Indian food in Worcester.

Fantastic across the board. My girlfriend and I shared everything and we were so impressed! We got a lamb rogan josh (my favorite), chicken vindaloo (her favorite), palak paneer, garlic naan, and veg pakora. Each one was up there with the best I’ve ever had. We asked for the vindaloo extra spicy and they did not disappoint — the dish was crazy hot, but that didn’t overwhelm the flavors of the curry. The lamb was rich, tender, juicy, and blew ever other rogan josh I’ve had out of the water. The palak paneer was vibrant and immensely satisfying. The pakora were crispy and starchy in the way I always crave, albeit a little bit too salty. Portion sizes were also more than fair. We wound up spending about 28 each which isn’t necessarily cheap, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find better food around here at that price point.

I’ve been wanting to try Desi for a while now because of the great reviews. Well today was the day and this fine Indian restaurant did not disappoint. The interior was spacious and welcoming and clean. We were warmly greeted and the menu has an array of Indian dishes. We tried the chicken tandoori, and garlic naan bread. The chicken came out on a sizzling hot plate not the usual drum sticks I’ve seen other places but nice pieces of breast with cabbage and a separate plate of rice. The chicken was moist and delicious. The naan bread was exceptional, fluffy not dry, with just enough garlic taste and beautiful cilantro on top. The waitress was attentive and answered our questions with a warm smile.
This place is one of the best if not that best Indian food I’ve had! I will definitely be back for a meal that leaves you beyond satisfied. The cooks/chefs are magnificent! Great job Desi!

This Indian and Nepali restaurant is delicious. I went with a friend for lunch which is a buffet and the food selection was fantastic for only 16.00 we ate in abundance, very tasty food.
The buffet is the best in the area, plenty of meat dishes and vegetarian options.
I decided to bring my husband on Sunday and although it wasn’t a buffet we enjoy the Tikka Masala, cauliflower with potatoes, garlic Nan and great basmati rice.
The sauces were delicious.
The space was cozy and spacious.
They have a bar
